Aveeno Protect + Hydrate SPF 60 Face Sunscreen, Prebiotic Oat, 2 fl oz

I don’t typically write reviews but I have bought this sunscreen more than 8 times now, I just keep replacing it and that should tell you a lot. This is the best sunscreen to ever exist for your face. It is extremely black girl friendly, it has never left a white overcast and it has never irritated my eyes or face in general. I feel very moisturized and protected with it. I’m actually obsessed and I pray Aveeno keeps the same formula because I want to forever keep coming back.

This sunscreen is 100% clear on your skin no matter your complexion color, don’t believe the reviews that say otherwise, they might have confused this specific product with another. This one is like a very thin lotion that spreads very quickly. It is hydrating, I have dry skin and had no problem using it without lotion underneath, but it also goes well over a thin lotion. All chemical sunscreens burn my very sensitive eyes, including this one, so I do not use it around my eyes, only on the rest of my face and neck; around the eyes I use a mineral sunscreen instead. This is one of the very best drugstore chemical sunscreens that currently exist, it has no white cast at all, while others have or can be drying for dry skin, this one is moisturizing and waterproof 80 min. It is not greasy and also not matte, it has a healthy looking, flattering glow. A great find for sure.

I love how lightweight this sunscreen feels. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave a white cast, and keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. It layers well under makeup and doesn’t feel greasy, which makes it easy to wear every morning. I’ll definitely continue repurchasing it.

This would be my holy grail if it didn’t sting my eyes so badly. I use a mineral sunscreen around my eyes and this on the rest of my face and that helps it not to migrate (unless heavy sweating or swimming, then it does eventually find it’s way to my eyes). It rubs in very easily. Dries down to a nice velvety finish. Love the way it feels and looks on my skin. Doesn’t flare my eczema. This would be a great daily or light sweating sunscreen!

I love that this sunscreen leaves no white cast, it's incredibly lightweight. It doesn't smell like chemicals, there's a hint of smell but I'm not sure I know what it is, however I don't mind it because it goes away fast and is not a bad smell. I use glasses everyday and before I'd notice some light tan lines from the frame and since I started using this sunscreen I see how it's quicky fading. I'm really satisfied and have gotten 12oz as well.

White cast, has a very greasy looking finish, and still irritated my eyes. Was hoping for a sensitive skin friendly, and not so greasy looking option from this brand.

A really good sunscreen that doesn't cause the skin to breakout. A little oily when you first apply it. Can gently dab off the extra oil with a tissue, if necessary. Has a very pleasant, mild aroma.

It has this very pungent smell and after applying it, my skin looks very dull (I go from naturally pale to 10 times darker than normal).

Really good. I love Aveeno and this product doesn't falter. As a black person, this sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast as it sinks into my skin. Will definitely get the bigger size in the future.
