They will fit a unicorn, but you have to order two sizes up from your regular size. Unfortunately, however, you cannot use these with a dragon. The fire from the dragon's breath would melt the fabric, causing potentially dangerous burns.

is the waistband of these leggings a wide elastic that fills the entire waistband, or a thin elastic just at the top of the knit waistband?

No!!! The elastic is very thin... not even a half an inch. It's maybe 2 centimeters. Really disappointed

I have the light gray and white there see through be sure to wear a long sweater or long top shirt, fits to the contrast of your body, it's very comfortable but I think your going to show a little more then you want to, definitely would advise a long top past You're thighs
