this is a great flashlight.wish I had bought this one first! size is right. both lights ate plenty bright and magnet is very strong.very good on batteries too! I'll be buying another for the car.

Really, really liked this flashlight, the original unit had an option that allowed turning on and off each time without having to cycle through all the lights. The later version doesn't have this. Also - (and this may be poor battery quality?) tends to stop working and get corrosion inside when left in a vehicle in colder weather. "- On the plus side it is great for inside power outages and emergencies. The option of direct versus bar light is great and the magnet on the end meant we could stick on the light fixture/ refrigerator or door hinge and bounce the bar light off the ceiling to illuminate the entire living room. It lasted for a two day power outage and another six months of random use before needing new batteries. Still wish the current versions didn't make you cycle through all the lights each time turning on - it is extremely annoying for frequent use at night since it takes time and blinds every time; would give five stars for the original.

Quit working after only a couple of short uses. But was returned and refunded with no problem

Worked fine until i had to change the batteries. After that only the sidelight works :(

Around the house in the glove box, not too bad. Maybe hiking or camping.

I have two of these and I keep one in the car and the other by my computer. (be careful around the computer because there is a magnet on the end of the flashlight). It is small and very bright on both the regular and LED settings. The red flash works brightly as well and is handy to put on top of the car when you have any emergency. (this is where the magnet comes in handy). Highly recommended.

A nice bright LED light - the spot light and work light are still working after three weeks but the flashing red light no longer works

I gave one at Christmas to all my sons girls and my cousins to keep in their cars for in case situations and walking at night or in dark places. Of course I kept one for myself in my car and have used it about 4 times already just walking at night. I Love it !!! A perfect gift to keep loved ones safe.
