The controversial and influential Gnostic accounting of the Gospel of John; appearing in English for the first time. Review: The Levitikon - The Levitikon reads very closely to the Gospel of John. The are some important differences. Some chapters read slightly diffently and the last few chapters of John are not there. It is my opinion that this text may have orgiginally been wrtitten for those within the inner circle of more advanced esoteric teachings. The translation is a very easy read and flows well. Review: Labor of love - Reverend Donald spent many hours translating this book on his own time, with no compensation. It's selfness acts like this, that let other seekers further their spiritual quest. I for one am very grateful for people in the world like Reverend Donald Donato, we should all take a page out of his book.

Excellent Book!
An excellent translation from the French, and very interesting to compare to the canonical Gospel of John. Highly recommended for any practicing Gnostic, and anyone interested in Gnosticism or early Christianity.

Another Fanciful Text from a Man's Misled Imagination
Just like Joseph Smith's "Book of Mormon," Bernard Raymond Fabre-Palaprat 'discovered' a document with secret knowledge about the true nature of Christ and the gospel. Unfortunately for him, and for Donato, this proves just as much a farce and forgery as Smith's golden plates. The manuscript discovered was a forgery that hoodwinked Fabre-Palaprat and sparked the launch of yet another gnostic, heretical church. The accounts herein relayed by Donato are neither ancient nor genuine, which becomes quite obvious not only due to the provenance of this document, but to any reader who is even moderately familiar with text from classical to late antiquity. Do not get hoodwinked as did Fabre-Palaprat, Donato, and others of this lineage.
