I just bought this to mount under my steering wheel but im also looking for a concealed holster to wear on my hip for my Glock 26. Any suggestions?

Off duty I carry a glock 19 in a holster made by advanced performance shooting. My wife carries a 26 in their holster also. I have a car rig for my 19 from them also. What country are these made in?

All of the hardware is made in America and assembly of the product is in America as well. The magnet itself is imported from China as the rare neodymium magnet is often sourced overseas as are most all magnets seen on Amazon.

Can the magnet pull the trigger while trying retrieve the gun from a blind spot such as underneath a seat?

I dont think so because your mounting you gun to the magnet on the guns body not anywhere near the trigger. But as long as you have a outside safety use it. If not please use discretion.

Do i have to have a texas chl to use this? or does the texas motorist protection act allow me to use this?

Yes you can. Make sure this is completely out of sight. Declare it to a LEO if you get pulled over. If you need to fire it you must fire within the car. Transport the weapon to your car from your home and back, nowhere else.
