Great for beginners
I’m new to weightlifting and this set is great. Enables you to build up the weight adding more when ready, and stores away easily. I did find that I needed to buy some tape for my thumbs as I found the grip on the bar rubbed and felt uncomfortable but I believe this is often as standard issue with many bars and was mainly for my comfort. I would definitely recommend if you are starting out and not sure where to look they are also great value and a bonus delivered straight to the door so no having to carrying them from a store!

These are really good. - The bar is surprisingly full length - The weights are of high quality - Installation is a breeze - Good for beginners in your home gym. Just go for it.

Decent for the money for light workouts
Bought for my 12 yr old to use with a bench in the garage. Decent enough but the weight / bar retaining clips are rubbish

Value for money
I needed a bar. I had dumbbells. This kit was the same price as a barbell all be it only 1 inch diameter. Not gym quality but does the job and as I said basically free weights

Steady and firm 👌
One of the best gym 🏋️♀️ equipment I bought so is is this phoenix fitness barbell weight set, so handy as I can use it for other barbells and so affordable and easy to fix up. It steady and firmly on your hands which made it so comfortable when lifting. It's value for money. I highly recommend it

Item's came quickly in good condition, but was disappointed as the barbell was too short in length for the bench I ordered.

Great barbell & good value
Really happy with this barbell. I was a bit dubious at 1st as not all of the reviews were very positive but I'm really pleased with it. It's good value for money, the weights go on & off easily & it doesn't come loose in the centre while in use. The bar length is fine too. Slightly longer than another one I was looking at. Delivery was very quick too. It was dispatched the same day as ordered & was with me the following day. All boxed up nicely too. No complaints at all. :)
