Loved it
I loved reading this - hated when it ended. It has lots of fascinating characters and plot twists that keep you fully engaged - that means reading until early morning hours. Highly recommend

I love Harriet Evans books. This one is not as good as the previous ones. But still a good read.

Superb read!
I loved, loved this book. It was interesting from the very beginning. I laughed, I cheered, I got mad and I cried. It is a beautiful love story as well as a book all mothers would relate to. I'm buying Harriet's other books immediately.

I Just Loved It
Harriet Evans ... hmm ... I used to read her stuff ... then, I guess I lost interest. But this book is getting excellent reviews, so why not give it a try? Wow - I'm glad I did! "A Place for Us" is an A+, multi-faceted novel that keeps you from the first page to the last- the very LAST! No peeking ahead... And just when you think you have the characters figured out - you don't! What a treat.

Interesting family drama

A beautiful tale of one family and their secrets...
this book took me a little while to get into, as there were several different threads being woven together but they did come together beautifully! there was an interesting mix of characters, some of whom took awhile to warm to, but i'm glad I persevered with this delightful story....the ending was extremely satisfying!!

A place for us
I love family sagas. When the author describes bits and pieces of each family member always leaving something out, so you must keep reading to find out all their secrets. This is a good one, trust me.

What a superb author!
This was my first acquaintance with Harriet Evans and I just devoured the book. I am now continuing exploring her other books with the greatest pleasure. She is a superb writer and the plots keep one in suspense from page to page.
