How do you measure to get correct size?

How do you choose for your calf size. Chest or waist size in the sizing chart may not be related to calf size.

I'm 6'1" 170 lbs. I selected Medium which fit perfect. I thought of what size shirts I usually get at running events (Med), just purchased TYR warm up's (Med; also-fit perfect).I also bought Compression running socks for the first time. LOVE them, even better than the comp calf sleeves. Will be too hot once summer comes though. Hope this helps.
