It Worx...Yet, here's how it worx...
It worx, yet here's how it worx.. so, everything anyone has ever said about Just For Men is true. I used it for 11 years without symptoms then one day it was all over. Turns out I'm also 11 years older so I need it more lol. What a nightmare JFM is. Wow. Wow. Caused sores, blisters, pus, redness, itching as you could expect in hell... like the kinda itching that once you start scratching you're hypnotized to not stop and you're helpless to it... if you use JFM and this isn't happening to you... don't worry... it will. 100%. I got prescribed Prednisone/Steroid cream. Took a couple months to heal. GOOD NEWS... Grizzly works. And so we never have to go gray again safely... HOWEVERRRRRR, so the turn your beard green, purple thing... it will happen UNLESS you do this... Here's the trick and cut and paste it... 1) First it goes a long way so get just one tablespoon spoon (short beard grunge, two tablespoon for longer beards) flattened not even full... dump it in a plastic cup or use the old Just For Men tray AND JFM brush too! ... ALSO, regarding the base it comes with... so I pour all the bag of die powder into a special glass jar when I open the package and so I mix 1 part base with 3 parts grizzly mix... no need to do the base separate it's funny like that. 2) boil black coffee, and add boiling coffee drop by drop until it's only a thick paste, do not thin it out! I mean thick, toothpaste thick... see this is the trick, because you cheapskates may be making it too thin... by doing it thick it's super concentrated and bonus it's easy to put on without dripping! 3. IMPORTANT! You gotta put it on within 2 minutes of mixing it! DO NOT LET IT SIT, DO NOT LET IT GET COLD, that color is alive that first couple minutes... 4. LEAVE IT ON for 40 minutes...NO LESS! it stabilizes by itself so it'll only color so far... it's gotta dry up like plaster does (TMI, I take care of all my bathroom biz at the same time so its no hassle for me) 5. Take shower and rinse off and you're gonna be awesome! These instructions took me many trial and error sessions. And eff Just For Men for ruining many many good days.

First and last try of this crap
There are so many reasons to not buy this product. First of all, the instructions are vague and unnecessarily verbose... not only is it a whole page of florid prose most of which is unrelated to the actual application process, but it doesn't even have the right steps that work for many of the people who use this junk. For example, there is no specification of amount of water to add to the mix. When I first tried this, I seemed to have put in too much and it had the consistency of swamp water... then later did I realize (what they don't mention) that you only add a few drops of water, maybe a teaspoonful, to this thing to make it "like ketchup" as they describe. Second, it smells awful! There is an acrid, bitter smell to this that is sort of like grass and dirt mixed with onions or some horrible vegetable else... it is difficult to describe. It is not entirely noxious but I was in a rush to get it off my face and scrub it out of every surface it touched. Third, it doesn't work! They themselves concede in the page-long instructions that it frequently doesn't work on first try! I got the black and it turned my beard a kind of tinted grey/green. If this happens I'm supposed to use the additional bag but really, I have no interest in going through this again. Fourth, it's almost twice as expensive as Just For Men. I bought this because I developed an allergy to Just For Men as many people who buy this product... so far there is no allergy to this but it does not justify the cost. This is a rip off. Now for those who are persistent with this obviously "challenging" product and got it to work through some dexterous practice like learning to play a new musical instrument, I salute you. For the rest of us who do not have time to fidget around with smelly goo and powder, the search for alternatives continues.

Great product! Take the time to get it right and you’ll be thrilled with the results!
This is a great product and great find, there are some caveats that need to be explained in order to truly be satisfied and happy with the product. 1. Take the instructions literally and don’t have unrealistic expectations. 2. Don’t rush through applications and be sloppy with the measurements. 3. Understand that this natural product might work a little slower than the nasty chemical alternatives, but good things come to those that wait. Initially when I got the product, I was overly eager to apply the stuff, and was being lazy about measuring things out properly and applying it just as instructed. I also didn’t have the patience to wait and allow the absorbed materials to develop within my beard hairs. I rushed and just eyeballed everything. The paste that I made was more of slurry than a ketchup thick paste. That being said, even being sloppy and rushing, the initial application worked at dying about 95 percent of my white hairs. The instructions say to do it on a Frost night, so you have the weekend to get it perfect. This is not to be taken with a grain of salt. It does continue to develop over the next day. That being said, I was in a rush, so I did two more applications that same day, one with the organic base dye that is office, and one with the color that I wanted. At this point I got 98% of the white hairs on my face dyed. I still felt frustrated, because I wanted instant 100% coverage. I went to bed and woke up the next day, and now I’m completely satisfied and happy. Not only did I get the full coverage that I wanted, it looks natural, my skin doesn’t feel burned or damaged like the chemical alternatives on the market, and it really looks natural. This is a highly recommended product that I’ll be keeping in my arsenal of tools to use for a long time. A Lorrie patience and trusting in the process goes a long way, and actually following the instructions and taking the time to adequately measure the ingredients to get the powder into a ketchup like paste rather than a thin slurry will assist you in getting it right. Using water as hot as you can tolerate will expedite the process for those really coarse hairs. Solid buy and great product. Both pictures below show my beard today, pictured below are the after shots, with another picture of what my whites looked like.

Awesome product if you are not in a hurry
I recently purchased this product, the concept of having an alternative to the chemical heavy products is very attractive, I followed the instructions and applied as prescribed, this is a very easy product to use, it takes far longer than the "normal" commercial brands (30 Mins) but I did not mind, the odour may be a bit unexpected but I was fine with it. After I took this off, my beard was bluish, but I let this settle overnight with pleasant results, the beard got darker with a very natural look and feel, props for this. The problems are that with the passing days the beard got progressively lighter, to the point that It had a purplish tone, I reapplied the second time in 4 days which helped, unfortunately, the same thing happened after a few days where the color faded. I LOVE the concept, I wish this could stay in my beard for longer than it does not, because if in a hurry or travelling, I dont always have time reapply as frequently as this may require.

No more burn or fake looking beard
I had been using JFM for years with no problems. Then one day I it burned my face and turned my bottom lip a dark blackish color that took 3-4 weeks to go away. I then tried Bigen EZ and it also worked for awhile then it to burned my face. I decide to give henna a try, but it didn't do a good job covering grey and it washed out way too easy. I pretty much gave up until I came across a review on Amazon on Grizzly Mountain. I gave it a try and WOW I am totally impressed. My beard looks very natural and it covered my grey. I used the base first for 30 minutes and then 30 minutes with the dye. Awesome results, but it could be a little darker so I decide to do another application and it is perfect now. Give Grizzly Mountain a try and you won't be disappointed

Not worth it, too messy
I really wanted to like this. It started off working well, which made the disappointment even worse. The process is extremely messy and stains my skin, my clothes, and my bathroom every single time. The dye flies everywhere no matter how careful you are. It smells like dirt and ass and still does not fully dye my beard. Way too much effort for poor results. There are much better alternatives out there. Total waste of money.

A LITTLE BIT LONGER OF A PROCESS BUT IT WORKS AND WONT IRRITATE YOUR FACE
Look here's an honest review. I've been using the black Grizzly for 9 months now. I've tried them all and for me, this is by far the best option. I used to use JFM but my face was getting jacked up. You shouldn't be using those super harsh chemicals anyway because it goes into your bloodstream. This looks more natural, to be honest. You don't want your beard to be super black or any other color. Trust me its obvious to everyone else. Do this the night before so when u sleep the dye settles and by morning you look like a rock star. I take a shower first, then I use the base for 20 minutes, then the dye for 20 minutes and rinse off excess with water only. If no shower at night is your thing and u just wash your face then bed (u nasty bastards)I just use water to wipe off and splash the excess real good. No need for full soap rinse because u will be washing out the dye! It's non-toxic so you'll be fine trust me. Ya, it's like putting a green tea mud pie on your face. It doesn't smell bad its no big deal quit complaining. Its either this or walk around like the Gortons FIsherman, I don't care. I have a mustache and low beard goatee kinda thing going. Becuase its so low and new growth shows more easily I do this probably every 6 days. If I had a fuller beard i would assume much less. They give u a ton of this stuff so its cool. Lasts a couple months for me. If it doesn't work at first, do it again or a keep it on a little longer. For the first time do it over the weekend and u will figure out your method. Don't say I never gave you anything

Gave me a chemical burn.
I’ve tried multiple times to use this product (first time dying my beard) and every time I use it (especially with the base that they add) I get a chemical burn that is very painful and lasts for around a week and a half. I generally don’t have allergies to much of anything. That alone makes the product either a 3 or a 2 star automatically as this means the product is either unusable for me, or there’s something I’m doing incorrectly that the instructions are not saying. What pushes this into a 1 star review for me, is that I went looking for a similar review to see if anyone else received a chemical burn as well, and there was in fact one person that did. I was surprised to see that the manufacturer had called this person a liar because “our product doesn’t contain chemicals, therefore we’re reporting your disingenuous review”. Instead of calling someone a liar first, how about reaching out and getting more information? I’ve had an Amazon account since 2001: you can’t pull the “disingenuous review” card with me as easily. I generally don’t like posting pictures of myself to the web but I felt it necessary to highlight what I experienced. I’ve had my hair relaxed as a teenager so I know what a chemical burn feels like. Simple irritation goes away quickly. Lastly a chemical burn doesn’t necessarily mean that you used chemicals in your product. If you google for the definition of chemical burn, it’s the following: “A chemical burn occurs when your skin or eyes come into contact with an irritant, such as an acid or a base. Chemical burns are also known as caustic burns. They may cause a reaction on your skin or within your body”. So to me this is applicable. But let’s pretend it’s incorrect: just because someone uses an incorrect description doesn’t mean they deserve being dismissed. You can call it a chemical burn or not but there’s clearly an issue if you look at thee amount of redness. Long short, try to understand where your customers are coming from before calling them liars.
