My Love Is Your Love

This album is a masterpiece, definitely the best one in Whitney's catalog. It kicks off with the mega hit It's Not Right But It's Okay where we listen to a new amazing vocal style and a very modern R&B with smart lyrics and awesome production 5/5. Heartbreak Hotel is such a gem! The voices of the three ladies mix perfectly and the song is truly out of this world 5/5. I feel like I can't even go on because then the title track kicks in and it's a different kind of amazing; I only say that because the producer is Wyclef Jean but we can still feel the soul in each and every word that Whitney is singing 5/5. When You Believe, the duet with Mariah Carey is magical the first times you hear it, but I have listened to it so much that it's kind of washed out for me, I still think it's awesome 4.5/5. In If I Told You That we get Darkchild again doing an amazing production job and making Whitney deliver very great ad-libs over the whole song 5/5. In My Business with Missy Elliott is a little bit weaker and not so solid as one would expect, still 4/5. I Learned From The Best is so incredibly powerful, wow 5/5. Then Oh Yes gives us Houston in the most sexy moment of her career, it's sublime 5/5. Get It Back is 4/5, Until You Come Back 5/5, I Bow Out 5/5, You'll Never Stand Alone 5/5 and the hidden track I Was Made To Love Him, a faboulous Stevie Wonder cover 4/5

Since her passing, I've felt compelled to refamilliarize myself with her songs. I got a little caught up watching her music videos and concert performances posted on Youtube recently and have watched her movies over, again. She was so young when she did "The Body Guard" but her singing and song choices in that movie have become legendary. She is legendary and it saddens me that I didn't appreciate her more while she was here. I can't imagine witnessing a talent like hers in my lifetime again. I was surprised when I heard the Whitney and Mariah duet. I had always given Mariah the credit for that song because it was in her #1's CD. I never realized Whitney sang with her. Between the two, it's evident that Whitney surpasses Mariah. I think she had a voice that surpasses all of the singing legends. When I'm listening to Whitney I feel connected to the emotion in her song. She tells a story when she sings and I'm drawn to the story because of how she sings it. She can quite literally sing me into tears. In choosing which CD's to buy I looked at all that were offered on Amazon and cross checked the tracks. I was able to come up with three CD's that gave me all of her hits and other songs that had become my personal favorites over the years. Her rendition of the Isley Brothers "For the Love of You" is one I could never tire of. I was able to come up with three CD's that accomplished it all for me. They are "Love Whitney," "Ultimate Collection" and "My Love Is Your Love."

Another great Whitney Houston album

I received the cd's after a while, they were brand new, and her vocals are from heaven. She is a lovely and beautiful woman, and singer. Her tone is pleasant, the quality of music is great, unique image, great style, lots of real emotions, conviction, feelings. The lyrics will build a connection with you, the listener. She will always be a talented amazing vocalist. The Queen of pop music, the greatest voice of all time. We will always love you Whitney Houston :).

Arrived in excellent packaging with no damage and the discs in pristine condition. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect spin of a hidden classic! I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars but it’s 4 because my cover and inside jackets are creased and bent a little at the corners which is really unfortunate because it just means the product needed to be handled more carefully in the warehouse NOT during shipment, to be clear. But other than that, the vinyl discs spin without any skips and the color/texture of them are beautiful and unique, just like this much missed gem of a Wombman, Whitney Elizabeth Houston 🕊️
