Worth it for the low price.
This coffee grinder lasted us almost exactly 2 years. For $30 at the time, I think it was worth the cost. It’s powerful and grinds just the right amount to last us a few days. Unfortunately about a month ago it’s stopped working as normal. It only grinds when it wants to. Something I have to disassemble and reassemble a few times before it gets a jolt from the power button. But when it does it’s a perfect grind. We’ll keep hanging onto it for now until we find a better or longer lasting grinder out there.

Still the Best Coffee Grinder After a Year and Half of Use
Been using this coffee grinder for a year and a half and it's still my favorite of all time. I've been grinding coffee beans every morning for the past 40 years and this is the best grinder I have ever used. Firstly it's the quietest. Although I'm used to it now and it doesn't seem that quiet any longer. But I remember how my old ones used to wake up the whole house when I ground my coffee. Secondly it is adjustable regarding fineness and time, and shuts off automatically. I don't have to stand there holding the button and watching the second hand on the clock. It grinds my coffee evenly and thoroughly every time. Thirdly it is easy to use and easy to clean. It comes apart easily for getting the ground coffee into my aeropress which I also love for making super strong coffee. And it goes back together in a snap even when I'm only half awake. And fourthly it's a durable, reliable, quality appliance. Performance never varies and no sign of it slowing down. I'll likely check in again in a few years and update this review. For now anyway, get this one. It's the best!

Pleasantly surprised! Better than expected!
I bought this item on sale (about $30) because the coffee I buy is $10 cheaper a bag if you get the beans instead of the ground version. I tried it today and it worked great! It was super easy (my first time grinding beans) and pretty quiet (just a loud hum), and the coffee came out perfect! All you do is add the beans, pop on the clear lid, set the timer for the ground you want (many settings from coarse to fine), plug it in and hit the start button. It shuts off automatically. My fine grind took about 25 seconds. It looks just like the coffee in the pre-ground bag! And you can add a decent amount of beans to the removeable holder - certainly enough for a few days, depending on how much coffee you drink. It's a smaller unit so it doesn't take much space on the counter, but heavy and sturdy for it's size so I'm sure the motor is strong and insulated to keep the noise level low. I definitely recommend it!

This grinder failed after only 5 uses
Update 03-01-2024 I have only owned this item for about 5 or 6 months. More importantly I have only used it 5 times. I used it the 3rd time (within three months) and I had to plug it into several different outlets as it would not turn on. Finally it worked, but it was plugged into the original outlet (the outlets were not the problem) since then, after many tries it worked a few more times. Now it will not turn on at all. I can't return it now. I will never buy this brand or any other Chinese affiliate again. It's trash ____________________________________________ Original review, basically that it was cheap and arrived when it was supposed to: Since I don't have a coffee maker I have to grind the beans at a specific courseness I chose this model. I haven't even heard of the brand name before, but Amazon says it's the choice purchase. Time will only tell on the durability of this item, and I hope to update that once I have used it for a while. I do like the knob controlling how fine or course you need and it has a self timer so you just push the button and that's it. The top cover is comfortable to turn and unlock from the grinder as is the dish with the coffee (spices, herbs...) Grinds. So far I'm very happy with this product.

False advertisement; not a useful product.
The product simply doesn't work well as a coffee grinder, and its store page is riddled with false advertisement. The main point of this review is that the "SHARDOR Adjustable Coffee Grinder" is NOT ADJUSTABLE in a meaningful way. The knob on the front only sets the amount of time that the grinder runs. However, this does NOT equate to a granularity setting. This product has exactly 0 granularity settings, and 1 built-in blade speed setting. The run-time setting does not control granularity as it suggests (with "Coarse" and "Fine" printed over the knob), but instead it merely controls the variance of granularity within the particles, without much accuracy at that. This means "Coarse" grinds will have both coarse and fine particles, and "Fine" grinds will have many granularities present. Functionally, it's bad for both coarse and fine grinds. The product assumes that if its blades spin for only 1-5 seconds ("Coarse"), the grind will be coarse, but instead you have a mixture of coarse and fine. Because the blade spins very fast, many particles will be obliterated immediately. This means french-press coffee will have fine particles floating around in it. For espresso grinds, you have 0 control over your grind. You can only run the thing for 30 seconds and hope that the particles are all obliterated into an even granularity, but there will still be variance in the particles. lower run-times will give more variance instead of an all-around coarser grind like you'd hope. Even if you manage to get an even grind, you still just have 1 granularity option, which means you will be selecting your beans and your roast based on your grinder instead of your machine or your tastes. This is unacceptable for anybody who's serious enough about coffee to own an espresso machine. Lastly, I want to note that the SHARDOR "Adjustable Coffee Grinder Electric, Herb Grinder, Spice Grinder, Coffee Bean Grinder, Espresso Grinder" only grinds coffee. It says explicitly in the safety booklet not to grind anything other than coffee. This product is most likely to perform without issues when making a drip brew. So if that's your only coffee, this may work for you. However, I wouldn't call it "Adjustable."

Awesome grinder
This grinder is super for grinding coffee beans, quickly and thoroughly grinds beans to desired texture from a coarser grind to a finer one. Every bean grinds consistently , with no half-ground beans left behind. I really like the automatic grinding feature, it takes a lot of guesswork out of the process. It’s so quiet and so easy to clean. I had been using a burr grinder to extract more flavor from my coffee beans, but this blade grinder does an exceptional job and my coffee brews up just how I like it, very flavorful. And I don’t have all the messy cleanup involved with a burr grinder. Very happy with this purchase! Update: This grinder still does the job, but after using it infrequently over a three month period after purchase, it became as noisy as any other grinder. That was disappointing. All the other features remain intact, so I would reduce my rating to 4 stars at this point. 7/21/25

Affordable, good to use Coffee bean grinder
I've used this Coffee bean grinder for at least a month now and it has worked well every single time. I grind up coffee beans to make cold brew and this machine gets pretty consistent results for the price every time. Operation is basically idiot-tier, put stuff in, select timer and push power button. The power button can be pushed mid-operation to stop early if wanted. The top is clear plastic which is good, it means that the operator can observe the grinding process and tell if the machine needs to be stopped early. Noise isn't a problem. I don't have any measurement equipment but I will approximate the sound level is equivalent to running tap water at full valve open. This thing is supposed to only run at a maximum of 30 seconds (I use max 10 seconds) at a time, so at this sound level for such a short duration, I can't see noise being an issue for anybody. Cleaning is easy too. Just twist out the hopper, swish in water and dry/wipe with paper towel. No soap needed (At least I haven't yet) Can't go wrong with this unless you need absolute accuracy and consistency of grounds, then another more expensive machine or manual grinder is probably needed. But for "I just need something to get by" grinder this things seems to be a great purchase.

Compact and capable. A fan even after a year.
I bought this unit because I need to make my own seasonings. My wife can't do onions, and I need low-salt seasonings, and this has been the perfect appliance to not only help me make fantastic mock-ups of Elways and Monterrey Steak seasonings, but it also provides the capability to control "graininess" so that I can get the textures I want (not over-grinding sea salt, for example). I dropped the unit, and cracked the lid. It's still functional, but customer support has been fantastic and they are sending me a replacement for reasonable price. I've had it for over a year, and have been quite happy with the quality, capabilities and longevity. Also, it's compact size makes it easy to add to a kitchen where space is at a premium.

Front switched grinders, better than lid switched.
I purchased the lid actuated version of this grinder and found the lid switch to be finicky and it often got stuck. I returned and gave it an appropriate poor review. This one is worthy of my praise. Works as expected, only that if you want pulse only, dial the indicator to zero first. Each increment adds a second. So if you choose 5 it runs for five seconds and then quits. Nice and predictable. The removable interior bucket is a major plus. I recommend this version of the grinder. I think you'll like it too.

Stopped working
After around 6 months of use, it stopped working correctly, you have to adjust the lid and the vase in a particular way to work sometimes. It doesn't have warranty after, the only upside is that is not noisy, so if you want to get a grinder for 5 months go ahead, otherwise, check for other options. Update: After contacting the manufacturer, they provided recommendations and offered a replacement, it's a good way to back the product.
