I've noticed this amp has an auxiliary input. I've played mp3s on it and have noticed a *pop* sound a few times. Is it ok to play music like this?

probably you have to much bass , that is why you hear the pop .

Should I buy the Peavey Max 126, Fender Rumble 15 v3, Pyle-Pro PVAMP60 60-Watt for a bass guitar in an apartment only?

I bought the fender rumple for my son to take that band practice. I sent it back and got a Peavey as it was smaller. the fender has a bigger, deeper can and I thought sounded better, but nothing wrong with the peavey. The external cab is more durable on the PV

It's only good for a practice amp ... Doesn't provide a deep sound ... My personal opinion is it would work better for a guitar

I bought a 300 watt, max 115. the data plate on the back of the amp says 75 watts. what is the wattage? 300 or 75? did i get ripped off by peavy?

You should be able to tell by how much power it puts out when you play. There is a huge difference between 75 and 300 Watts
