Go-to baby gift
This thing looked so cool that I wanted to play with it. Fortunately, I have a bunch of friends having babies and this has become my go-to baby gift. The animal sounds are cute and the parents seem to enjoy them almost as much as the babies! We all agree that the sound the head makes is a little creepy but it's a great toy.

This is incredibly cute but the sounds from each ring ...
This is incredibly cute but the sounds from each ring are not the same decibel. In fact, the pig squeals and the frog ribbits are very, very faint, to the point that they are non-existent to an 8-month old. She adores the giggle from the top, though, and the cow's moos greatly interest her. Somewhat overpriced.

Super Entertaining!
My daughter LOVES this toy... it was great when she was first learning to sit. I would sit her down and put the toy right between her legs, she would grab onto it and it gave her something to focus on and keep her balance. It has all kinds of different textures, colors and sounds. If you press down on the whole thing, it sounds like you are in a barnyard! Now that she can sit on her own, she knocks over the whole thing and will swing around the center pole like a hammer, she chews on the rings and the nose of the face on top... she doesn't put it back together yet, but she's only 7 months old... we'll get there!

sounds don't work
i find this product to be lovely. i bought it some months ago for my baby and put it away until now that he is 7 months and we can play with it. but i just found out that the sounds of the bottom 2 rings don't work!! i am so pissed off!!! this is such a pity.

Baby Proof
The zany design of this product sucked me in, but I almost immediately regretted paying so much for this ring stacker. Why? Well, it's pretty much baby proof. In addition to the rings being cloth, the pole the rings are stacked on is cloth, as well. This causes too much friction for a baby to slide the rings onto the pole - believe me, it takes a little force! In addition, the pole is not attached to a base - it is a separate piece in itself - meaning Baby has to assemble the pole and the bottom ring first before it can stand freely for more rings to be stacked on top! (Yeah, like that's going to happen!) In order for this to be a feasible plaything for a little one, the pole should be attached to a solid base and be made of wood, or at least a durable plastic. All my daughter was ever able to do with it was pull it apart and squeeze the rings to make animal noises and then scatter it to the four corners of the room. I have since gotten my daughter a Melissa and Doug wooden stacker which she loves to take apart and re-stack and can play with it with ease, with or without adult assistance.

just okay
I ordered this from Amazon's Warehouse for much, much less than what it retails for here. Had I paid full price, it would have gone back, but for the money I spent, we decided to keep it. There is no base which makes it very difficult to thread the first ring on, it won't be possible for our son for some time. Each ring has one section you can press and it makes noise. The head is supposed to giggle when you put it on the top of the rod, but you have to press down so hard for it to work that it's kinda pointless. It is cute and soft and as individual rings it works okay for us for now.

Wonderful stacking toy
We bought the Kushies Zolo Boa for our 9-month-old granddaughter, and she was totally absorbed with it from the time we (finally!) got it out of the package (there are many plastic ties that have to be cut in order to remove the toy). It's an inventive and fascinating alternative to the typical stacking toy, with bright colors, sounds and textures that grabbed and held her interest. The rings apparently also work well as teethers, since they were in her mouth as much as her hands.

FUN
My daughter has been playing with this toy from a month old. it is colorful, soft, and each piece makes interesting sounds that makes my daughter smile. She is a year now and still loves it. Well made. I love the fact that it is washable.
