I've been using the standard black Xbox series X controller since I bought it a few years ago (included a pic for comparison). Whilst I have opened my controller up previously to try and clean the sticks, I hadn't considered changing my buttons. Out of the blue, my controller's RB button stopped working two weeks ago. On closer inspection, a plastic part of the RB button plastic had snapped off so I had to replace it. I was initially just going to replace the RB button, but soon realised I could get a full button replacement set for just a few pounds more. Many different companies controller mods and repair kits, but extremerate stood out as they offer many different colour schemes. They also provide detailed video tutorials that walk you through the repair process. I'm delighted with the outcome. My controller is back working normally again and it looks fantastic. The installation is simple if you follow all the steps shown in their video tutorial. Very happy with the purchase.

Product is great. Ordered the full set of buttons in purple as I was repairing my controller anyway so thought why not customise while I had it apart. Found the process of taking the controller apart and fitting the buttons nice and easy. A little fiddly if your like me and have big hands but I managed. All the buttons were made from quality materials and were a perfect replica of the original buttons just with the added appeal of the colour. Well packaged and although I didn’t use the tools or the extra screws they were a great addition to the package. I will definitely be ordering from extremerate again for any other parts I want.

The finish of the buttons are very good, as good as official ones. Quite fiddly to install, the tutorial video was very thorough.

My son is so happy with the new set of buttons and cover also purchased from the same seller. Now, I do have patience, and this took patience and concentration, but following the YouTube video provided by the seller , was easy enough to do. You do have to take the controller apart completely so be prepared. But the item comes with the tools needed which is a bonus. The cover is more simpler to replace than the buttons. Controller works great still and would buy again.

I bought both the buttons and shell together. The video was easy to follow however I did have a few problems. For example some things fell out of place or when I was putting stuff back together it was hard to reference the video. Eventually you do figure out if what you did was right or not. Most of the time I was wrong and had to back track. It took me many hours but it was worth it. I feel that the videos could be zoomed in a bit more for better understanding but the product its self is amazing. No complaints!
