It tastes ok. I had to cook it a bit longer for 1 minute extra. cos when I cooked it at the recommended time, 90 seconds, it tasted hard. So maybe it depends on your microwave. Ours is 1000 watts. But it tastes ok otherwise. Good portion size, but I bought 3 of these to feed my family and have a little extra left over. The quality is ok. It’s not too dry. Good value for the money. Easy to use in the microwave. The texture was ok. Recommend overall!

Looks good, smells good, tastes good. Ultra convenience, and makes for a great pantry staple. I would even add it to longer term pantry needs as it can be consumed direct from package or takes very little effort to prepare it. I love adding a portion of it to quick soups. What I do is take some left overs from the fridge-- usually assortment of vegetables, then I make a quick broth, and add in some of this rice to round it out. I dont usually need to use the whole pack, and I am a big eater. I still stack lots of dry rice, but having stuff like this is incredible for its convenience and that I can having something to eat if the power goes out and I dont want to fuss with trying to set up a cooking station outside, etc.

Let me tell you that this Jasmine rice is absolutely delicious! And I'm not even exaggerating. It has the best flavor, texture... Just everything about this rice is right. I really cannot believe it. Honestly I can't. The only thing I will say though, is that microwaving it for the 90 seconds (as per the instructions) will not do it. It won't. It needs an additional 60 seconds. With just 90 seconds, the rice was still pretty firm... In order to get this rice tasting perfect and delicious, you *MUST* microwave it for the 90 seconds + 60 more seconds. The rice is so delicious. I'm never going to stop buying it. I just noticed that they also have a Coconut Jasmine rice. I cannot wait to try it.

On weekends I will cook rice but during the week with working long hours and by the time I get home the last thing I want to do is cook for the next hour and a half. I'm usually starving by the time I get home and popping one of these bags in the microwave for a minute and half or so and air frying some chicken or pan frying some fish takes all of 10 to 15 minutes and the rice is delicious.

these are great and so much quicker and easier than boiling water and waiting. 90 seconds and it's ready!

Delicious flavor that makes an excellent side dish when I do a nice saucy chicken or tamales. Great flavor, super easy, when it's on sale I usually stock up, my husband loves it.

We had it tonight for the first time, my kids & I wasn’t too fond of the taste. We had better Ben’s Original Ready Rice and this flavor is definitely not one of them. Maybe if I added with other stuff like some kind of meat or something and toss it together. But just eating it right out of the pouch is definitely not as good.
