Does it work for 220V

Per Sylvania, the specs for the A19, BR30, and Recessed downlight is 120v line voltage, which is the US standard. So no, they will not work directly on 220v without being damaged.

I bought the bridge and this bulb and I can not get it to connect to the bulb. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Things to check - in the App - settings, check if updates are available. This means updates to the Gateway itself first. I had to do this, and others have as well. Turn light bulb on and off at least 5 times - this will put it in pairing mode. have the gateway start pairing mode/ searching for device. The bulp will blink several times to indicate it is in pairing mode and emitting signal to be paired. The BULB itself may have a firmware upgrade as well. Once you get it paired go back to settings and check if there is an update due.

Do these lights require a separate hub or bridge to work with Alexa? I already have a wink hub.

These lights do not require a separate hub or bridge. I do not know if they work directly with wink. But they do work directly with smartthings hub.

What protocol do the bulbs use?

These bulbs use ZigBee to connect to your compatible hub.
