Best bathroom attachment made
Best bathroom attachment you can buy. I have had one for years but needed a new one for the girlfriend. They work so simple. It just uses a vacuum effect to stay attached to the wall. You just turn the knob and it creates a vacuum under the seal. Just ensure to clean the area underneath and around the area before you start. Mine has not moved in over a year or so now. I only use it to hold my soap. It makes the bar of soap last a lot longer since it does not sit in a puddle of water. It is very lightweight but would hurt your toe if it fell off the shower wall. That is why you need to clean the area before installation. The chrome color works well in my bathroom.

Quality Product and Amazing Customer Service
This is my third Hasko product. I have two double hook accessories in on my shower glass doors and now this soap basket. The double hooks were easy to install, very nicely plated and that suction is no joke! It has never come off and there is no damage to my glass. Not a single sign of rust...and these get exposed to water and soap regularly. They are also easy to remove and reinstall. It takes 10 seconds. I got the soap basket for my kitchen sink, since my simplehuman sponge holder one really doesnโt stay as clean as I would like it to or offer enough ventilation for the sponge. The holder is great but my sink is very low and I find the basket would take up too much space (although itโs not overly large...just the right size) in my tiny sink. The item comes with a disk to mount on uneven/porous spaces. I would have installed the basket right above the sink if my window above the sink wasnโt such an inconvenient space. I have window screens, so I canโt mount it there. I reached out to customer service and not only did Andrii get back to me right away but they provided a wonderful solution. We really have to support these small family run businesses. I canโt wait to see their product line increase so I can use more of their products in my home.

Elegant and Sturdy Soap Dish
This really has great suction and hugs the wall tight. Make sure you apply it correctly or it will fall off. I wet it from behind and put in on the wall and tightened with the knob. Tight as a drum. It is attractive and holds a very large soap bar. Seems well made, very heavy and sturdy.

Good enuf...
It installs easily, and it sticks to my ceramic tile. HASKO is a bit odd in that they contacted me by email immediately after the purchase about installation procedures, and there was a follow up email a few days after I received it. This isn't rocket science here, but I assume they've had some customers with installation problems or problematic reviews they're trying to head off. The approach seems a bit overzealous to me, but no biggie, it's only a couple of emails. I will say that although this is an effective soap dish, the "puck" is plastic with a chrome-like treatment, and the stainless steel basket feels a bit flimsy. But that's only something I noticed while handling it; once it's installed, it's just a fixture that looks alright. I'll update if I begin having any corrosion problems. The product ships with an adhesive-backed plastic disk that can be applied to a non-conforming surface (i.e. 1" tile, slate, etc.) that provides a flat surface for the suction cup to adhere to. I threw mine out. I have to wonder if the extra height of this would make the basket hang at weird angle?

Works great on my polished marble tile.
Works great on my polished marble tile. I placed the unit on my shower wall with polished marble tiles. Initial placement towards the corner of the tile showed initial strong suction, but then fell down 1 day later. Repositioning it to a different part of the tile, closer to the center, resulted in great strong suction, with no problems staying on the shower wall. I liked ti so much that I ordered 2 more for my other showers. Looks great with great suction. The seller later sent me these detailed installation instructions, which I wish was included with the package. This may help other purchasers. In particular, step 4 about retightening the knob several times during the first 30 minutes and first day, and possibly first several days may be helpful to prevent unnecessary frustrations. As some customers have questions on the installation of our product, please let me give you some tips for successful mounting of the suction soap dish: 1) - Mounting surface must be clean, flat, and non-porous (e.g. ceramic tile or other completely smooth surface, avoiding grout lines). 2) - Rubber suction cup base must be flat before installing. 3) - In the location you have chosen for installation, apply pressure to the suction cup (as well as to the knob) while turning the knob clockwise to secure it to the wall. 4) - IMPORTANT: After your initial installation of the soap dish, you will need to turn the knob clockwise again a couple of times during the first half hour; continue to tighten it every once in awhile on the first day. In the next few days you may need to turn the knob a little more for a secure hold.

Rock solid suction cup design
It seems trivial to be excited about a soap dish, but it always seems to be the little things the eventually get on my nerves and this soap holder has solved a problem that has been irking me for a couple years. I previously had a soap holder that suction-cupped to the wall of my tile shower that I picked up from BB&B a few years ago. That lousy soap holder, regardless of how clean I got the tile and how carefully I adjusted the suction cup, it would fall off the shower wall every couple weeks, making a huge racket, often in the middle of the night. -Update 7/18/19- After about two years of having this mounted in my shower, I think has fallen off the wall twice. I've never had that much success with a suction cup based product in my life. I can handle a failure once a year compared to twice a month with my previous suction soap dish. Enter Hasko's soap holder. I attached this to my shower wall in the exact same spot (after thoroughly cleaning the surface) a couple weeks ago and since then, I've been very confident that it would stay rock solid on the wall. I really like that you can crank the knob on this to increase the vacuum under the suction cup, so even after changes in temperature, you can reapply vacuum pressure without it falling off the wall. For a fairly inexpensive item, this has relieved an annoyance I've had for too long. I'm very happy with my purchase.

decent product, but make sure the intended installation surface is glossy smooth before you buy
I purchased this soap dish for use inside my deep well solid surface (Corian type) sink, and I also purchased the HASKO dual hook product for use in my fiberglass one piece shower. Both feel to be decent quality, their packaging was simple and eco friendly, and they shipped quickly via prime. The hook worked flawlessly in the shower, and has a much cleaner look than a cheap shower caddy. The soap dish did not however work as well. The sink is a smooth surface and mounts solidly when initially installed, but the material has a matte finish and must be just porous enough that it simply will not hold over time. I have tried installing it dry, damp, cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, periodic tightening of the suction cup knob after installation, but regardless, it falls off within 20 minutes to a few hours after install. Rather than returning it, I have simply decided to use it somewhere else for another purpose. Long story short, ensure that the intended installation surface is not just smooth, it must be glossy smooth.

Great Soap Holder
Looks great and doesn't feel cheap. The suction cup works perfectly on my tile shower. It's nice they include an adhesive pad for use on rougher surfaces but that it's not needed for flat surfaces like tile. Definitely better than a lot of the knock off brand alternatives.

A Disappointing Sucker!
Seems good quality but I could not get the rubber sucker to stay stuck on to smooth, clean wetwall despite numerous attempts following the instructions in the video on Amazon. It either fell off if I didn't tighten it enough or it popped off if I tightened it too much. Pretty hopeless. In the end I stuck the rubber sucker to the wetwall with silicone sealant. Problem solved, but a disappointing experience.

Fantastico prodotto
Prodotto eccezionale.

The BEST soapdish on the market
This is a great soapdish. Unlike many people who reviewed it, I assume, I have a perfectly smooth shower wall. (It is made of man-made marble.) I cleaned it with cleanser and then water and then alcohol and then water again. Then I installed the dish. It is already sticky when you first take it out of its plastic wrapper, so I took advantage of this and made sure NOT to touch the suction disc with my hand. EVER! I followed all the instructions, and voila! The thing is stuck firmly on the shower wall, as far as I can tell, forever unless I remove it for some reason. It has been on my wall for 5 months now, and shows no signs of moving, no matter what. All the other reviewers who talked about it having a problem sticking were installing it wrong I think. It is the best soapdish I think I have ever owned.

Easy install.
Great product. I needed an extra soap holder in my shower but wanted a quick install. Had this on my tiles for about 2 weeks now. It hasn't fallen off. They also give an extra suction in the package which is great, because over time it will deteriorate.
