Yeah I paid for this. I probably should have bought the larger one but I just wanted something small to throw in my pack for when I head out into the mountains on my motorcycle. I still haven't gotten rich yet. Buying things like this can make you feel stupid sometimes but it is always nice to dream. It is a small piece of black, moulded plastic with " engineered " ridges formed into it in a circular vortex pattern with a well in the centre to catch the gold due to the golds weight and the gravitational pull on heavier earth objects such as gold. There is some quasi science involved but don't expect to whip it out and get yourself a date. It is probably best left to the kids due to its size but at that price the Aussies might just have to keep it. When I pan my first nugget I'll get back to you and tell you all to buy stock in the company. Until then the owner will just have to fend for himself. I'm sure he'll be fine, he did uncover one of the largest gold nuggets in history. I'm sure he's not hurtin for dates.

So I've already owned this pan. I liked it so much I bought a second one! It is very easy to use and quick too! Just note, it was designed in Australia where the water flows backwards, as does this pan! Easy to get the hang of though!

If I had to choose I would stick with this black pan as you can see the little flakes of gold better. Not sure the turbo part but it worked ok. We watched the video on it but didn't help a lot. To me it worked about the same

This was not what I ordered. First it is green not black. This was suppose to me a metal pan and it is plastic. I will be returning it.

Although it is harder to master than I had anticipated, it does the job well once you get used to it

I was very excited to receive and try my turbopan! I only wish it was as easy as it looks in all the videos : / of course I may be making it harder than I should he simply because that is my nature... I would like to see some dry panning videos if anyone is game.... Maybe some how to videos from an AcTuAl beginners view/ability.
