Great Idea
What a difference! I'm really pleased with this. There are really on 2 adjustable height sizes, not 3, but i was able to get a somewhat close match to my boot (not perfect). But good enough that I feel so much relief when walking with the crutches. Also helps me need the crutches less because I feel like I'm more balanced. I highly recommend these!

This product saved my gait and sanity while wearing a walking boot!
Whoever invented this deserves a Nobel prize! I have to wear a walking boot for a stress fracture on my heel, and the nurse recommended this product to help with my gait. I did have to exchange the small for a medium to fit over my sneaker--I wear an 8.5 "barefoot" sneaker so it's much wider at the forefoot. It occasionally moves forward in the lift, but I gently hit my heel on the floor and it shifts back. It has held up well and made wearing a boot bearable. Everywhere I go I tell others about this shoe lift, even a stranger wearing a boot without this lift--he was thrilled to see it and was ordering one that day after walking unevenly for 4 weeks! I have kept the same black sneaker in the entire time since it matches my black boot and makes the whole set up less conspicuous. I only wish the velcro strap that goes over the top of the foot was wider for a more secure hold and a little shorter so I didn't have to wrap it around the side rubber. I kept all the layers in for the closest height to my boot. I appreciate that it works for either foot, although hopefully I never have to use it again. ;-) Great product and decent price.

Very durable and a back saver
These shoe lifts are the best thing if you have an Aircast and that uneven feeling it causes. Keeps your back and hips even. They are height adjustable with inserts . The material is very durable and are the easiest to put your shoe in. The rubber construction is great for giving traction on slopes and for giving that ease of walking

Saved My Aching Back
Started experiencing lower back pain while using a walking boot around the house, so purchased the EVENup adjustable height shoe lift in large (I wear a U.S. men's 12 shoe) to even out my walking gait. The product did just that and my back pain subsided. The upper cage is made of a flexible rubber that expands around the shoe to hold it in place; however, experienced a little slipping in the heel area, but not enough to cause stability concerns. There is a thin velcro strap to secure the upper toe area. The sole is grippy and never slipped on ceramic tile or vinyl flooring surfaces. The shoe lift comes set at the highest height, which is what I retained, but the platform soles are removable if a lower height is desired. Overall, pleased with the product, but perhaps a wider strap would be better. No durability issues, but only used the product everyday for ~four weeks. Also, never had an issue with the rubber cage leaving marks/creases on my shoes, but I didn't wear the same pair of shoes every day. IMPORTANT - closely adhere to the vendor's instructions for selecting a size. All of my shoes measured longer than 12", so this is why I bought large over medium. Also, the shape of the shoe is very important. My slip-in Sketchers did not fit well, but shoes with a lower/streamlined sole profile, more closely resembling the vendor's picture did.

EVENup worked for me
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT sponsored nor do I receive products for review. On to the review: First off, I feel bad for the folks that were disappointed with the product. I've been in my EVENup for the last two weeks and so far it's been working great. I wish there were another pad that could be used to fine tune the height, but I guess that's what your regular shoes are for. Play around with whichever pair puts yours knees at the closest similar height. I've been in my Otto Bock boot for the last 5 weeks after getting surgery to reattach a torn achilles tendon. First I used the boot with two crutches and then one crutch and then one crutch and the EVENup. Now I'm off the crutch, so it's just the boot and the EVENup. I haven't slipped yet (thank the Lord) although my boot has given me a scare a couple of times. I ordered the XL version of the EVENup since I wear a size 13 and the occasional 14. US, men's. So far it's worked with a KD Trey 5X in size 13, a Puma TRC Blaze Court in 13 and a GT Jump 2 in size 14. The rubber framing fit well enough over the shoes to give a good fit. The foam is nice and hard, so it gives a good platform for your shoe to sit on. I've used the EVENup in grass, in the wet and in the dry. On tiled surfaces or polished cement it can be a little tricky, but then again what shoe has grip in those circumstances? I'm probably around 210lbs right now, and so far it seems to work out just fine for me. Could it be because of my weight? Maybe I compress the tread enough that it grips? Not too sure, but the EVENup has worked a treat thus far. I had to play around with different shoes to get the most even knee height. For all three shoes listed (I'm currently using the Pumas at the moment), the EVENup held them snug and they didn't slip out. Now bear in mind you probably shouldn't be trying out for a basketball team in these; but for regular movement I haven't had issues. Your mileage will/may vary, of course. Overall I'm glad I made the purchase. My hips definitely feel better compared to when I first tried walking without the EVENup. I get to remove the boot after next week so the EVENup will have served it's usefulness and hopefully I will never have to use it again. Ditto for my walking boot.

Definitely worth a try
I recently ought these because after my knee replacement I have one leg longer than the other. I thought because they had different levels for the shoe this would be the one for me. Was very easy to put on the shoe. Well made but unfortunately just didn’t work for me. I am definitely glad I tried it.

This is a must for anyone who wears a Medical Boot to level out your Back
I was in Alaska in Jan 2026 and I broke my Tibia and Fibia right in half, I had 2 surgeries that week before returning to California. The surgeon put me in a medical boot with zero weight for 2 months. Wow, my back was killing me hopping around on one leg. At 4 months I can now (With the boot) use 50% weight baring. I went to PT and explained that my back was now hurting really bad. This was the only time I was advised that wearing a shoe lift would even out my height and stop the back pain. Within a week my back pain has stopped and I am now able to balance my walk. I was really surprised that this lift has (2) pads so I can adjust the height of my shoes that have different heels so that I am always walking level. This item should be recommended by any doctor to their patient when the size them with a medical boot. Thaaaaaaaaaank you for the relief.

My hips are much happier!
I have been in a walking boot for a couple of months, and will be for another month. My hips were beginning to get really tired of the tilt, and I was beginning to have some significant sciatic pain. My physical therapist suggested these lifts, and I am glad he did! It feels so much better to be approximately level! I say approximately because to get fully level, I would need to use both inserts. However, with both, the lift becomes so stiff that my heel pulls out of my shoe. You may or may not experience the same thing - I wear zero-drop shoes, some of which have extremely flexible soles. Even with just the 3/4" insert, I can't use my most flexible shoes, but it works perfectly with my slightly stiffer ones. If I were wearing "normal" athletic shoes, it might work fine with both inserts.

Excelente compra

Worth the money
This was worth the money. It made it a lot easier to get around having both legs the same length.

best product
This product is very helpful for the people who are using the the Vacoped boot. It helps to level the height preventing knee and foot pain on your good leg. Only issue is the size is a little smaller, i should have ordered a large instead of a medium to fit the shoes.
