Perfect when you want parts before a repair.
This was the perfect set! I wasn't sure what part I needed and I didn't want to take apart the dryer without parts in hand. this made it quick and simple to have parts ready.

Easy to install
Used this for a Whirlpool Duet dryer. I removed both the dryer latches and its strikers. To remove the striker, squeeze it and pull it up from the bottom. Dryer door does not have to be removed completely, only the front plastic glass section. Five screws had to be removed (none near the door hinge) to separate the front section from the dryer door. I have attached a picture showing which screws have to be removed. I ran into couple of problems. Removal of the door was easy, however, attaching it back was somewhat tricky and took me perhaps over 10 minutes to align it properly to the screw holes. Then I discovered that the top latch was a bit difficult to close properly such that one needed a bit of force to close it, requiring a bit of a slam when closing. This could be because both the latch and its striker are new, so there is probably a โbreak-inโ period for smoother operation. I have saved all of the removed parts in case something goes wrong. Now that it has been a couple of weeks, the door closing is a bit smoother, but I still feel like it has to be slammed for the top section to close properly. And since there is no dryer door opening issue anymore, the laundry seems to be drying better and faster. [3.5 Year Update] No issues. Still requires a bit of push to close, but that is fine.

Ok
Would be better if could select what parts need rather than a generic that only one unit is used

Happy
Worked out perfectly. I didn't take door apart, I just popped both female n male piece off drying and popped new in. Much more tighter than original but solved problem

Life Saver!
Fits my Kenmore Gas dryer, which must be at least 20 years old at this point. I had to resort to stacking bins of clothes against the door to keep it from jumping open. Larger loads tended to bump door back open also. Anyways, I almost returned this because I thought I had a Whirlpool dryer when i infact had a Kenmore but there wasnt much to it bu taking some pliers and twisting the old latch off....and pressing a new tab into the door. Viola. It took 2 minutes at best. Easy install.

Good product, great price.
Shipping was pretty slow, it came from the US, but the product worked perfectly, and came with a bunch of spares as well.
