I am what you call a 'hot sleeper' and I searched for quite awhile for a cotton blanket for the summer months. One after another I had to return them. One was too heavy, one wasn't cotton as listed etc. And then I found this one. Wow, what a difference it makes! Our summers are very humid and on top of that I live directly across from the lake ... my apt is so humid that all of my book covers curl up. If I use my regular comfy blanket I feel like I am sleeping in a plastic bag and I wake up sweating uncomfortably, even with air conditioning on. But when I use this cotton blanket, I am not sweating at all. Dry as a bone! :) It is lightweight & breathable and soft enough. I am used to my comfy cozy blankets so compared to those this feels kind of thin, but it feels comfortable enough and since I don't want to wake up drenched, I will happily use this blanket. It washed up beautifully, I put it in the dryer and it came out great. It comes pre-washed and didn't shrink at all. There was no odor when it arrived. I ordered the light tan color & it looks great on my bed as a decorative throw. I got the larger size throw as I didn't want a full size blanket. As I am only 5' tall, it is perfect for me to sleep with. Also great for curling up on the sofa with a book or watching TV. ~ Recommended!

TLDR: If you sweat like you’re in a peloton class while you’re sleeping, this is the blanket you need. It is the perfect blanket especially for warmer months like spring and summer. Made of cotton so it’s lightweight, soft, and breathable; it washes well too. Light tan is darker than the listing photos but matches the icon photo. What I liked: This is everything I wanted this blanket to be! It’s lightweight, soft, airy and breathable. I love the design and it helps me sleep better at night. No more sweating! Now, I was already familiar with this type of blanket because I bought some throws for the couch at TJ Maxx last year and they are so so similar to this. But I’ve never seen these in bigger sizes so I was happy to find them here. I got these on sale so I liked the price and think it’s a good value. I told my sister about it and she got one too! I’ll have to pick up another for the guest bedroom. What could be better: I wish I had bought this sooner! Or what if this was on a buy one get one free! Haha! I can dream (without sweating)! Fit/size: I ordered queen size for a queen size bed. I usually buy king size bedding (not including sheets) for my queen bed but I’m quite happy with how the queen fits. Durability/maintenance: The minute this arrived I tossed it in the washer. It washes well, I wash cold and dry low. It was perfect! And even felt a little fluffy even though it’s thin! It’s easy to care for and doesn’t take up crazy space in the washer. Would I recommend: This is best for anyone who can’t sleep without a blanket but doesn’t like to sweat in their sleep. It is great for anyone who wants to upgrade their bedding to natural materials that are easy to maintain. You may need a couple, for the bed and a throw for the couch. The fleece side is structurally more like soft toweling, which isn't what we expected. However, it is a soft and light-weight blanket, so will serve the intended purpose!

My 5yo son recently just got a new bed and this blanket almost covers his full size completely. It’s so soft and comfy and doesn’t come apart. I used level 1 Baby detergent for that initial wash & awesome smell. I do wish It was slightly thicker, but it is warm! Just a preference I have In my blankets.

I bought this blanket over a year ago. It fits well on my king sized bed. I figured we would use it during spring and fall, then add a heavy blanket in winter and remove in summer. This blanket has not left our bed, except to wash it a couple of times. It is an ideal weight. I don't know how it does it, but we stay cool under it in the summer and over the past four days we have had our thermostat lowered to save energy for the grid because of sleet storms. I fully expected to get out the heavy blanket, but we have stayed warm and toasty with just that blanket -- no bedspread over us or anything. It is good quality and does exactly what you need a blanket to do. I like the quality and the look of it. In the next few months I will buy the queen blanket for our two guest queen beds.

It definitely had a weird odor when initially opened, but nothing a wash couldn’t fix! Soft, very thin and keeps me cool compared to a normal comforter - esp in AZ heat! No changes to the seams after a wash and dry. Perfect size for my bed as well!
