I had recently dropped my Nitro 5 laptop and broke the fan. I ordered this replacement and it fit perfectly. It installed very easily and the connector was just as easy. The temperature shows that it's working well. It's quiet and spins effortlessly with minimal noise. No rattling sounds.

My laptop is now maybe 7 years old and chugging along just fine. Every time I replace the battery i've also removed and cleaned the fans. Still they always have a fine amount of dust / junk on them. They cooled OK or so I thought. This past month I had to replace my keyboard, so I figured such a rebuild justified new fans. OH MY. Wow completly quiet. Runs much cooler at lower RPMs. Well worth the investment

The product description stated it would fit a 515-52, but it did not fit properly out of the box. I had to make a small modification for it to fit correctly. After that adjustment, it works perfectly.

I've had my acer for a while now, it's been through some stuff (a beating) and this fan works great, I bought 2. It was easy to install and very quiet. It's an open fan though, I would have loved if it came with the cover. I just used the cover from the original fans from the laptop.

This fan does NOT fit in an Acer Nitro 5 it screw points do not line up with anywhere on the mounting brackets, it does not have have the intake/out takes not to mention its logos were covered by sharpie Do not buy these

These were a gift for my future son in law. His poor laptop fans were so loud you could hear it on phone calls. He's very happy now! Fitb perfect, quite, and no more laptop overheating
