Great film but overpriced.

Kodak Portra 400 Color Print 35mm absolutely lives up to the hype. The colors are beautifully natural with soft, pleasing skin tones and excellent dynamic range. It handles a wide variety of lighting situations with ease, from bright daylight to lower-light scenes, without losing detail or introducing harsh contrast. The grain is fine and clean for a 400-speed film, giving images a timeless, professional look. It's Incredibly forgiving, which makes it perfect whether you're shooting portraits, everyday moments, or more intentional compositions. Overall, Portra 400 is a reliable, versatile film that consistently delivers stunning results. Easily a 5-star choice.

Good film

First time using Portra and everyone was right - skin tone is perfect. We used for both outdoors and street photography to compare, and it was lovely for nature. The colors were dreamy and pastel and everything was matted and beautiful. Not what I am looking for when I shoot city/street photos as I’m looking for a higher contrast and punchier colors. I’ll stick to outdoors and portraits for this film.

This film is some of my favorite! I recently used it for a wedding and the pictures all came out stunning, from daytime photos of the ceremony to the dimly lit barn reception I had great results with this film. The color and range of the film is top notch! I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys film photography and wants to add a little nostolgic color film to their collection.
