This was so easy to put on and it works great im real happy with it! The water was warm it is wind resistance, Very sturdy, stability is great,it stayed on place perfectly! Well worth purchasing.

I've gotten many "covers" over the years that were simply cheap tarps that barely lasted a season. Out the gate, I could tell this was different. Its a thicker vinyl that feels solid and seems stitched well. I managed to stretch it over the pool solo, and it fit perfectly. I didn’t even need to use the pull strings. For the first time, I'm not worried about wind, and im hopeful the dark color will help heat the water. The holes are larger than I expected, so some debris -- especially dirt -- could get through. We will see how big an issue it is.

I purchased this pool for my 2yr old daughter who loves to swim. I filled it just short of the full 30" which was perfect for her. She can kneel down and her face is still above water. The product description and quality are in line with the reviews I read. So far (4weeks in) it has proven durable and low maintenance. There has been no leaks or filter issues either. It has been a great confidence booster for my daughter! She is fearless and has been able to learn how to right herself and not panic when underwater (where she prefers to be!). I would highly recommend this product if you don't want the hassle or expense of a full size pool.** I MUST WARN PARENTS, the only downside may be the flexibility of the walls and top ring, if a child leans on it they can collapse it slightly and THEY MAY FALL IN! The WALLS are not solid and there is still a huge drowning risk! So far its been a great buy. Will update if things change.

Unfortunately, I originally bought the 7ft version of this cover last year but was unable to put my pool up till this year. The 7ft did not even come close to covering my pool despite the pool instructions saying the top is 7ft. I took the loss and ordered a new 10ft cover. This one is too big but still fits. It took about 3 mins from opening the package to install. It does not fit snug so it is easy to cover and uncover the pool. I am worried what will happen during a storm. The cover does have quite a few holes on the top which I believe is for a reason but you will still get some debris in your pool.. So far so good. Pros: - So easy to use - Super thick and durable - Have not had any issues yet Cons: - Does not fit snug on my pool - Holes in top for water displacement but are big enough to allow debris to enter pool

Love this cover. Got it to replace the one that came with the pool itself and it’s soooo much better. The reflective side works great to keep the pool water cool even during hot Alabama summers! Water use to get bathtub like and now it’s staying cool and comfortable!

UPDATE: DRAIN HOLES NEED MESH OVER THEM! They are too big and all the dirt and small debris make their way into the pool. I am returning and just going w the tarp method. I had to drain and clean the pool after a rain So. I got this due to the drain holes: unfortunately they do not have mesh over them. Defits the debris purpose. I have cotton trees. Need I say more. Especially w rain, it's all going to pool to the center (cover is too big) and w that all the cotton I'm trying to avoid. Wrong size: my pool is 7.3x7.5 w a head rest, so I went w the 9" to compensate. It's actually a 10 inch. Not sure if it being more taught would aid in the cotton not draining into the pool. I don't think it would because the drain holes are a decent size. I think more of a mesh like design or mesh over the holes needs to be a thing. I was looking at the bubble wrap type that just sits on top, but there again: the water may just pool. Right now it's the cotton & not sure this will do much for that when it rains. Will definitely help w bigger debris. All in all, I believe this was the best choice of all options 4 stars for open big drain holes.

I have to order a new one of these every year. By about a year it's shot--working when sun is hot, crumbling in pieces when sun is down and in the 60's outside. I am NOT complaining about that. It's a real bargain for a year's use in the punishing Southern sun for a really great price. The reason for the low rating is because I ordered EXACTLY the same item (Amazon shows it as identical purchases a year and a month apart), but this one is about 1.5 to 2 feet shorter all the way around (total 3 to 4 foot shorter diameter)! I use it over my Coleman/Bestway hot tub to take the sun abuse so the hot tub underneath will survive longer. I need sun protection all the way to the ground, but this one covers only the top plus a small overhang. Maybe I can order a 10-foot and send this one back. I'd give this a 5 star all the way, but what is this monkeying with the size with no warning? Maybe the last one covered an 8 foot pool with a 2 foot overhang (the hot tub is about 6 foot diameter, giving the original covers enough room to cover it all the way to the concrete patio below it. It was flat, allowing gathering with string to pull it snug to the sides. But this "8 foot" cover is barely over 6 feet, then has another piece sewed to it that goes down, such that it cannot be laid out flat. I can't say that no one would prefer this, but it is WRONG to call it the "same item", because it is NOT! It ONLY fits a SMALLER pool than the same item number. Maybe I should rate it as a 1 star instead of 3 star. Maybe it has 8 feet if you bend your tape measure at each end, but it SAYS "8-Foot Round...Pool Cover...12 in Overhang", which is NOT true. INCLUDING the overhang it reaches roughly 8 feet. It should be changed to indicate that it is ABSOLUTELY NOT the same cover as before, and it absolutely cannot cover even close to what used to be covered. Again, this isn't a bad item. It just is NOT the SAME item, AND it is FALSELY DESCRIBED. If it were correctly described it is fine, but absolutely not the item I want. I want the old original! Flat, and 3-4 feet longer.

I really debated purchasing this after seeing one person reply to a question stating that this did NOT fit their 8ft stock tank - but then I saw a full review with a picture that showed it successfully installed on an 8ft stock tank. That lady stated that it does fit snug at first and then loosens up - she is right! I LOVE this cover! Yes, when I first put it on our 8ft stock tank "cowboy" pool, I needed my husband on the other side to help pull but now I can do it myself - it is no harder than putting a fitted sheet on a bed...actually some of my fitted sheets give me more trouble! I do think that - if you leave it out in TX sun - it almost shrinks back to it's original size a little because I do have a tougher time putting it back on after leaving it off and in the sun for a day. You do have to pull it tight and walk around the pool a few times strategically pulling and adjusting to get it on but don't be discouraged! I also debated: do we need a cover? can't we just throw a tarp over it and call it a day? ...now that I see all the nasty stuff (leaves, bugs, bird poo, etc.) that lands on top of it, I am super grateful we have a real cover to keep all that off; I will try to add a picture when I have time. I haven't had to use the strings to tighten it yet, but it's stayed on through some good wind. I purchased it when it was on a "deal" and have since purchased a second one when it was at even a lower price just to have a spare. I would 100% pay the full price for it though. Totally worth it.

This Intex cover has done a good job so far. The material seems thinner than the old cover which came with a pool we bought from Argos years ago. We are being more careful with this one to minimise wear and tear. I noticed some reviews say it doesn't fit a 12ft pool, but I think you have to measure the diameter at the base of the pool. Ours is 12ft. The top of our pool is 10ft and you have to look in the images on the product description to work it out. It is a much looser fit than the old one, but it still does the job.

The cover is very good quality and fits the pool well. I have been using it for more than a year and it has held up nicely. It looks good when fitted and has been durable with regular use.
