Krusteaz Meyer Lemon Pound Cake

People thought I made the recipe from scratch. It’s so delicious! Glaze comes with the mix so you can’t get much easier than this to have homemade tasting lemon pound cake at a moment’s notice using basic ingredients. I’m so happy I bought the 12 pack. This will be used a lot during the holidays!

I discovered this cake mix in my local grocery store a couple of years ago, and we have been hooked on it ever since. My store no longer carries it, so I was delighted to find it here. This is the third case I've ordered. It's so easy to mix one up, just stirring everything together in a bowl and dumping it in the pan. No need to drag out the mixer. So easy, even my husband can do it without supervision lol. For me this cake combines the best of both worlds. Pound cake is my favorite cake, and I love lemon flavored anything. The finished product is always consistent. I highly recommend this.

Extraordinarily easy to prepare and very tasty. We have made the cake several times. Once we forgot to put the icing on the top and never noticed it. The icing is great, but the cake itself is so moist and flavorful, you don't even need it.

My children & I recently moved to a remote area of Alaska. There is a grocery store here, but their selection of tasty baked goods is limited and the cost of cake mixes is sky high. We all love lemon cake, so I looked on Amazon for some cake mix. I ordered this pack of 12 cake mixes for the same cost of 3 boxes of cake mix at our local store--bargain! As soon as we got the package, I made a pound cake. The instructions are straight-forward and easy to follow. You will need a lot of butter, but the end result is worth it. The cake is tasty (light, lemony, and just the right amount of sweetness); my co-workers always rave when I bring one in. The glaze that comes with the cake mix is also good, but I add a little lemon flavoring/emulsion to kick up the lemon flavor. That's the only change I make to the instructions, and it's not even necessary.

This lemon pound cake mix is EXCEPTIONAL!! I added lemon juice to the frosting instead of water for extra lemony punch! SUPER GOOD!!!

Simple one bowel no mess. Makes a Great Muffin.
