Work as described.
Versatile lights. Temporary or permanent they work. And for the price I have some extras now. Not the strongest magnets but for the price they work good. Fork out cash if you want the best but these work well and are good to have as extras for things that come up.

A steal at the offered price-- but be prepared to tweak them a bit
As others have stated, these are the same lights you buy at the auto parts store for $49.95. (Yes, I checked.) So let me tell you guys about my own personal experience-- They arrived VERY quickly-- a couple of days. Well packaged and delivered to my door. (Love my Amazon Prime.) But when I opened them up, one of the bolts inside had come unscrewed-- which was no big deal. I peeled away the bottom protective layer, took the four phillips screws off the bottom plate, found the rattling screw inside the light and found the rattling nut inside the magnet. Tightened it all up in about two minutes, she was all put back together. For my application, I am towing a small Ford Escape, which has a roof rack. So all I had to do was to set these mag mount lights on the roof of the SUV, then attach them to the roof rack using a couple of cable ties. Dropped the cables down inside the rear hatch of the SUV, ran it back out the front door-- and underneath the hood-- and dropped down to the plug behind my truck. I secured the cables down up front with four more cable ties. Simple and easy. As others have stated, don't expect the magnets, strong as they are, to hold in the extremes of high speed tows. But all you have to do is use cable ties or bungee cords and you're good to go. I would have given this a five star rating if I hadn't had to do some basic quality assurance maintenance on arrival-- they should have caught that at the factory-- but hey, these were a HUGE discount over buying locally, and they work great!

DONT BUY THIS POOP
This is a piece of @&"?!#%*+. The lens, both fore and aft are not secure and blow off and out at 70 mph. I had to buy other lens and tape them into place with heavy duty clear packing tape. The magnets are not strong enough to hold lights in place without backup taping them in place. Unless you secure the wires with more tape, the wind will mess them up and render a good safety idea useless. A complete waste of money! TERRIBLE!!!

Worked as Expected
The lights worked for what I needed. I did not give the magnets a chance as I was afraid they would fall off at the speeds I would be reaching (so that portion was not tested). The brightness of the lights were good, the product appeared and felt to be well made. I have not experienced any issues period with this product so far after 1 time of use.

They work recommend with some reservation, magnets are way to weak to hold the lights at speed
the lights work, but are very cheaply made and be prepared to use additional tie down methods as the magnets are woefully under strength to hold the lights in place, I used zip ties to keep them on the bumper of my towed vehicle the wire used is also very thin gauge I would guess 18 gauge or lower but they do serve the purpose and as I said they do work, if you need a cheap set of towing lights and dont mind adding reinforcement to the magnetic hold down they will serve

I should have STARTED with this!! :)
Perfect!! and easy!! I bought a replacement kit before for my trailer, and OMG!! what a pain! I had to rewire everything and hang all new lamps and it was awful! And then the plug in which was supposed to be universal didn't fit! I was sooo frustrated! AND THEN, I bought this kit! SO EASY!! The plug (being the first thing I checked this time around), fit perfectly.. then I just attached the lights via magnets (EASY PEASY!!) and I used electrical tape to keep the wires from hanging down.. BEAUTIFUL!!! That was so easy and in the long run, less expensive than the first go round! Thank you for great product!!

Good for how much it costs.
Worth the money. Magnets are not strong but a rachet strap was enough to hold it steady. It was on the back of a corolla for 22 hours straight and went through 45 minutes of heavy rain. The length of the wires is long but they are exposed to the elements and are loose, but nothing tape couldn't handle. Overall a good alternative if you don't want to pay 50 dollars or more.

AMAZING
I went to buy a pair of these at Walmart and they were $50!!!!! This is a great deal. They are bright and easy to use. I take them on and off of my boat trailer because submersible lights always break. I wish the magnets were a little stronger but I still would highly recommend these.
