These are great speakers for the price. The quality and appearance is excellent and the sound quality is superb.

These small speakers sound as good as many that are twice the price. Amazing bass extension.

Having had the BR02’s as fronts for music/movies for two years, I thought getting the BR03’s as fronts would be a decent way forward regarding a ‘bigger sound’ at the front. All was fine and I even AB’d them against the BR02 when I first had them. After a couple of weeks, they changed tone! The midrange seemed to disappear and they became a bit sibilant. I AB’d them again just to make sure it wasn’t my ears….it wasn’t. They went back and I ordered another pair of BR02’s…….all is well again!

I did not buy mine from Amazon. I think I got them from one of the first importers when they launched. I'm an experienced audiophile and have owned many top standmounts over the years including Proacs, Harbeth, Spendor, Acoustic Energy, Totems, Dali and Stirling Broadcast Ls3/5a's etc. These are definitely to my taste. I love the value and performance I get from these, but most of all the tone is to die for! If you value tone this is a great little performer. It's definitely the star of the show. I would say the tone and midrange presentation on these get me 90% of what my Harbeths give me. The top end is nicely extended and refined. The bass is very strong, fulsome and punchy, although slightly too "ripe" for me. At this price, it's just nitpicking. It's got a direct presentation and the soundstage is directed out toward the listener as supposed to layering it behind the speakers. They will not be good if you are too close to these speakers. They are not nearfield monitors. Although the bass is ripe it is very entertaining and seldom bloated. It hits hard and is very punchy and responsive. Piano sounds as big as it should which is a hard feat to accomplish. The strumming of guitars are sublime and you can feel the resonance of the strings in a big bold way. Not even the Harbeth P3esr or Proac Tablette 10 can entirely pull this off. Put on some Jesse Cook or Dominic Miller and prepare to be blown away. The top end is sharp but not nearly as ear-splitting as my Totem Rainmakers. I have a fairly Neutral Amp and don't suffer any listening fatigue which I'm usually quite sensitive to. So these are keepers because of the value / performance - getting £250 for them used is just not worth it. I guess this is why you never see them being sold used on Ebay etc. I hope they last a long time and if they ever give in I'll buy them again! :)

Había tenido solamente bafles de los años 80's y 90's y debo decir que poco me han sorprendido estos bafles en cuanto a calidad sonora. Hablando de los acabados, éstos son muy buenos... la malla protectora se adhiere a los bafles por medio de imanes y queda de lujo. Sin embargo, como mencioné antes, la calidad sonora, aunque es muy buena por este precio, poco puede variar a lo que ya estaba acostumbrado con mis bafles vintage, los cuales, se pueden conseguir a muy buen precio usados obviamente.

Just connected this pair of French Triangle Borea speakers to my Wiim Amp and really enjoying it so far. These replace a pair of KEF Coda 7 speakers that I loved, but now old and wearing out. These Triangles are perfect for my office but could work well in a larger room. These are large for a bookshelf speaker; about 15.5” tall with the included 3M rubber adhesive button feet. So just barely fit in my office bookshelf. True, imaging not the best being so close to each other but sound great nonetheless. Out of the box, sound is a bit bright but with break-in period the woofer will wake up and sound even better for low frequencies. Already I can tell these are more “alive” than my previous subdued English KEF. By “alive” I mean the upper lows to upper mids are a bit forward; midrange-heavy is not quite accurate in that these are very smooth and punchy and no mushy bass. My KEF’s were probably better for bass-heavy rock (broken in over 30 years no less), whereas these will be better for most other genres like jazz, vocals, and real live percussion instruments like snare drums and piano. The highs are bright but sound great, never tiring of an entire afternoon of listening. Box and shipping were first rate, no damage. Quality of the vinyl wrap veneer-look oak is beautiful. The binding posts are really good and just a bit small so it takes a bit of squeezing and pushing to get banana connectors inserted but once in are tight. My cabinet is a generous 13” deep and I bought right angle banana plugs to help; even so the speakers are just a bit proud of the front of the cabinet. TRIANGLE - BOREA BR03 heute erhalten mit schneller Lieferung. Angeleint und voll zufrieden. Die Stimmen, Höhen, Mitten überzeugen voll. OK Standboxen haben oft mehr Bass aber ich habe Nachbarn und so genügen mir die Tiefen auch. Wenn Budget vorhanden ist das Doppelte auszulegen ist immer Luft nach oben. Ich habe auch noch teurere Speaker die auch nicht viel mehr bieten. Auch 600 Euro Boxen getestet die eindeutig schlechter sind als die Triangle BR03. Doch für 400 Euro Preis/Leistung Triangle ziemlich das Beste das mir untergekommen ist. Auch optisch sehr schön. Bassreflex Rohr nach vorne bietet problemlose Aufstellung auch im Regal. Ich finde die top und behalte sie. Vielen Dank an Amazon!

Des enceintes acoustiques, c'est comme les chaussures, vous pouvez en acheter pleins mais généralement c'est toujours les mêmes que l'on a aux pieds. Je les utilise comme monitoring, douces et précises elles ne me fatiguent pas, des basses incroyables malgré leurs tailles, super stéréophonie, il manquerait juste un peu d'effet de profondeur, mais cela est sûrement dû à la vitesse des transducteurs, mettez donc derrière un ampli classe A ou AB évitez les classe D.

Got these speakers after reading and hearing some very positive reviews about the Borea family, it is true that they peak a bit on the high frequency but nothing not fixable tuning the high frequencies a bit on EQ. Nice packaging, nice magnetic grills, got few imperfections on my unit around the big lower white cone though. I think it would pair well with a subwoofer (maybe Thetis 280 :p) due to its excellent mid-high performance in this price range. Amazing support on amazon from Triangle. Not so much aftersale, I think its due to them being native french speakers and having a bit of an issue understanding what I was asking in English. // Adquirí estos altavoces después de leer y escuchar críticas muy positivas sobre la gama de Borea, es cierto que se exceden la alta frecuencia pero nada no corregible ajustando un poco las altas frecuencias en el EQ. Buen embalaje, Buenas rejillas magnéticas, hay algunas imperfecciones en mi unidad alrededor altavoz blanco inferior. Creo que le iría bien un subwoofer debido a su excelente rendimiento de medios-altos en este rango de precio. Increíble soporte en Amazon por correo de Triangle. No demasiado bueno una vez comprado, creo que se debe a que son nativos de habla francesa y tienen un pequeño problema para entender lo que estaba pidiendo en inglés.
