Kingston Digital 8 GB SDHC/SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Flash Memory Card 30MB/s (SD10V/8GB)

I bought this for my Lenovo Yoga 11s laptop/tablet to extend its memory. It allowed me to double the available memory of the laptop pc by inserting this card in the memory card slot. I use the card to store my music collection and the card works very well, I am able to quickly retrieve and listen to my music from the card. Note: if you are familiar with the size of tiny sd cards (e.g. 64gb, 32gb, 16gb) that fit in a phone or a tablet or in a pc with an adapter into a memory card slot, realize that this item is the size of the adapter, i.e. the sd card is adapter-sized and you will not be able to use this card in a phone or any other device that has only the small, sd-sized slot.

I purchase this to work as a secondary SSD on my hp splitx2. That laptop only came with 128 gb hard drive but I needed more space. I saw that the sd card when inserted is so deep I can keep it in there permanently as a secondary hard drive. So I use this card to store files to save space and it is fast. the read and write speed is faster than the ssd on my laptop and it works with the newest cameras giving you 8 hours of high definition storage. In the time I have had this card I have abused it and it still functions fine. This is a great sd card which is surprisingly fast and durable a must get if you need a high capacity sd card.

Product picture shows a 32GB card, I actually bought and received an 8GB for my camera. I bought this card as an upgrade to the older 4GB, slower memory card in my trusty old Kodak EasyShare Z812 camera. The memory card works perfectly and now I have double the storage space. NOTE: The main reason that I bought this card was the assumption that having a card with double the speed would make the camera save each image and be ready for the next faster. That is not the case, it still takes as long for it to save the picture and be ready for the next. *** This, of course, is NO fault of the card. The card works perfectly. I just mention this in case anybody else buys it with the same thinking as mine.

SD card is the easiest way to upgrade your laptop memory - in my case Lenovo Yoga Pad 13. Prior to the purchase, I called Kingston customer services to verify that this specific card would work with my laptop. Their response was fast and friendly (one of the reasons that positively influenced my decision to purchase from them. The card worked out of the box once I pluged it in. Overall happy with the product. The only reason I don't give the 5th star is that de facto you don't receive 128GB but 116GB - which is solid enough but mildly disappointing.

This memory card came in a little plastic bag and not official packaging. However, I needed the specific brand of memory card to use in my light-o- Rama Christmas light show it worked just fine! I had issues with my last memory card, so I was worried this wouldn’t work for my light show files, but it works perfectly, I finally got everything up and running. I highly recommend.

Great SD card. I have owned many different brands over the years and this card is among the best. Transfer speeds are fine, those numbers can vary so much depending on what your doing with the card and your system, how its set up, etc Therefore I prefer not to base my opinion on that sort of data, I can just say this card is plenty fast. Where I find this card to be above many of the others I have owned in the past is in the solid build quality; Its a nice firm plastic, it doesn't feel like its going to flex and break as some of my other cards have done. Also its sealed tight no concern of it coming apart (like cards Ive have in the past). The price was fantastic, I bought 2 and I will buy more in the future.

A simple cared that is quickly recognized by Mac and Windows. Transfer rate is great. Works well with iPhone/Pad camera when paired with my old ioS connector to Lightning converter, Handles video on my IPhone6 and my digital camcorder. True evaluation can't be done until after3 years of use since that is when my camera carda usually poop out. The 64gb size is large enough for the 18 mb pictures taken on my camera HD video on this camera.

Used it with the Canon T3i and what makes me uneasy about it is that usually the camera maxes its buffer on this card once in a while when filming thus the camera stops recording automatically. But once you restart the recording immediately again, there's no problem. The videos where successfully recorded onto the card but this small issue starts again usually if I have turned off the camera and turned on again to initiate another recording. This doesn't happen with other Class 10 cards such as Sandisk Extreme 32GB that I have. So this behavior worries me a bit because I don't know if it's a sign for eventual failure, although for now this seems to be a mild defect and hopefully not fatal. This issue if not fatal can still be a problem if you want to get quick footage and your camera stops suddenly. Right there you've just wasted about 2 to 3 seconds restarting the recording. UPDATE: As of two days ago the card failed as feared. I'm unable to do anything to fix it as it only registers as having 0 bytes.

I bought a new camera and needed a card to take pics so after searching for multiple cards and reading multiple reviews i chose this one. Works really great and has plenty of space for me to take alot of pics and save them in RAW format plus being a class 10 it is true that it doesn't slow down the camera like a class 4 would. Excellent card by a great company. One of my favorites and for good reasons, there cards have never let me down and the prices are also good if you shop for them.

Bought this card to go in a camcorder, so it needed to be class 10 and error free !,.. So far I've had no problems at all and have been using it at its fastest speed. You can't ask for more. Also, it was delivered quickly. A good price too. !
