Functionality & reliability at a great price
I side-mounted this electrical strip to a wooden cabinet as part of a pretty large electrical project in my basement. The mounting brackets are easy to use and provide a secure hold. The strip's cable length is ideal for my needs...not too long and not too short. Each outlet provides an adequate power supply. The whole unit appears to be very well made and should last a long time under normal usage. I have no complaints at this time. For the price, this power strip option should be at the top of anyone's list.

Tame the Cord Chaos Behind Your TV
Behind my TV used to be a tangled mess of cords, bulky power bricks, and cables everywhere. This long 16-outlet power strip completely cleaned things up and even saved space in a tight setup. What makes it work so well: โข Wide outlet spacing easily fits oversized plugs and adapters โข Extra-long design means no more stretching cords across to a single crowded strip โข Built-in overload protection adds peace of mind for electronics โข Optional wall-mounting brackets (I keep mine flat behind the TV and it works great) This replaced two separate power strips I had on either side of the TV. Now everything connects in one place, cords are shorter, and the whole area looks way more organized. One small thingโI do wish there was an option for a shorter 2' or 4' cord. Not a deal breaker, just one extra cord to wrap up. It is a bit pricier than standard strips, but for tight spaces and cleaner cable management, itโs been totally worth it. Iโm already thinking about grabbing another for my office to tackle the cable clutter there too.

High quality and very safe internal construction, but mine lacked mounting brackets
Though the strip I received didnโt come with wall-mounting brackets, I was highly impressed with the quality and safety of this 16-outlet stripโand Iโm a just-retired senior mechanical engineer. If I had to buy another power strip for use at a workbench or reloading bench in a home shop, Iโd buy this one again. As mentioned in the video, my power strip was U.L. certified. See photo. Though the box my power strip came in arrived with unbroken seals, it didn't contain wall-mounting brackets. So if you are an advanced hobbyist and possess the necessary tools and fasteners, this strip can be disassembled and mounted very securely on a wall; though that takes some time, the quality of this makes it worth the effort. Maybe my box was a rare mistake; maybe not. In case many of these power strips ship without mounting brackets, I give this the following ratings: For sitting loose on the benchtop or floor: โ โ โ โ โ For wall mounting by mechanically unsophisticated users: โ โโโโ For wall mounting by mechanically savvy users: โ โ โ โ โ If you DONโT have a Torx-10 (Star-10) drive bit, AND if you want this to be wall mounted (as opposed to sitting loose on the floor or bench top), this strip isnโt for you. CAUTION: For those with the right tools, wall mounting without the brackets requires opening it up; that shouldnโt be attempted unless you know what youโre doing and are sure it is unplugged while working on it. Some reviews here claim that only part of this strip is aluminum and the rest is plastic. Perhaps this product has evolved over time, but my stripโs construction comprised two solid aluminum extrusions that snap together and both are powder coated (โpaintedโ) black. Importantly, the receptacles have good grip on plugs and can endure repeated plug/unplug cycles without excessive decay in their unplug force (and an associated increase in their tendency to overheat after long periods of high-current use). This strip is U.L. listed and its construction reflects that; inside, there is proper insulation and grounding. I once bought a less-than-safe U.L.-listed espresso machine where the manufacturer exploited a U.L. program where manufacturers can self-certify their equipment and didnโt properly ground the metal enclosure. Close examination of the internals of this CCCEI power strip was a welcome surpriseโI was genuinely impressed with its internal construction. See the video for more. ________________________________ UPDATE: I see in reviews posted over a year after I purchased my power strip, that the gold U.L. certification label (see photo) was missing. This *could* be because: 1) U.L. did an audit and found nonconformities, or 2) Because the company changed the design beyond permissible limits of U.L. standards and elected to not seek costly certification, or 3) (Most likely, in my opinion), the company elected to not pay the annual recertification fee after having first obtained it.

Perfect for the space and application I'm using it for in the kitchen!
Perfect heavy duty power strip for the back of my kitchen countertop to plug in multiple countertop appliances over a long span of space! Very useful and looks good on the back of my countertop! It was the perfect size for my needs!

Handy product, but not perfect
Nicely made and I like the spacing and orientation of the outlets. It's lightweight and feels like it's mostly plastic, which is fine for my application but might not be the best choice in certain workspaces. The only con for me is that the mounting brackets can't be slid along the length of the powerstrip. The brackets could probably be modified if necessary, but as designed, they must be positioned at either end.

Wonderful Power Strip
This review is for "Long Heavy Duty 16 Outlet Large Metal Garage Workshop Multi Wide Industrial Power Strip. 6FT Cord 15A, 125V, 1875W (Black)", CCCEI Item model number BY213-P16 (ASIN B08G1CMQKZ). The CCCEI power strip shipped quickly and was packaged reasonably in a 48"x5"x5" cardboard box. The 46"x3"x2" product box was placed inside the shipping box with no padding. I opened the product box and my immediate thought was that the power strip was made of plastic, not metal as advertised. I went to the Amazon listing to confirm what it was that I'd ordered, and sure enough it said that the CCCEI power strip is listed as having an "Ultra-Durable Aluminum Alloy Shell". I sat there for a moment then decided to measure it: the cord is about 3" shy of the advertised 6ft, the strip is 44.5" long, 1.75" wide, and 1.63" high. That makes the power strip a bit smaller than the width and height as advertised (2.75"x2.75" or 7cmx7cm). Smaller in those dimensions is fine by me! Then as I looked more closely I realized that the endcaps are made of plastic but the power strip itself is aluminum which has been powder coated in black! Kudos to Amazon reviewer "Ms. Moneypenny" for the excellent review of this power strip. I could echo everything said in that review of this item, but there's no point as they've already said it. Go read that review, it's accurate. I purchased the CCCEI power strip to replace an existing 4ft power strip mounted to the cinder block wall behind my work bench which has only six outlets. Installation of the CCCEI onto the cinder block wall was very easy as I was able to re-use the wall anchors I'd installed to mount the old power strip. I removed the eight screws on the CCCEI, pulled apart the extruded aluminum shell, marked then drilled holes in the back cover which lined up with the existing wall anchors, mounted the back cover, snapped on the front shell, then I re-inserted the eight screws. This took less than 20 minutes, including the time to find then put away the required tools. The CCCEI looks really nice over my bench. It wasn't until I'd replaced the old 6-outlet power strip, triple taps, and an 8-outlet surge protector that I realized exactly how many devices I keep plugged in at my bench. Twelve! That's three chargers, two Battery Tender Juniors, a 12v bench power supply, a data logger, a magnifying lamp, a soldering iron (plugged in via a 1-outlet Belkin F7C009 power timer), a multiport USB charger, a single-serve coffeemaker and mini refrigerator. Four outlets are still open for whatever I'm working on, power tools/instruments, and/or my other two DC power supplies. Five Stars!!

Great Product!!!!
We just received this product yesterday, got it mounted and plugged in. It looks amazing as it is all black even the outlets. Plenty of them for a workbench type of setting. Seems to be very well made and is pretty sturdy mounted with supplied brackets. You will need your own mounting screws, the ones they sent would require a threaded hole to screw them into. Very pleased with the product so far.
