Great looper with lots of extras
It's a great loop pedal. The drum kit to add synced rhythm to your loops really sets it apart. I didn't know it had that until I started screwing around with it after purchase.

This pedal is really well made and enjoyable to play with. The audio is pretty clean and can be used for performance. I love that you can load backing tracks on it and solo over them. You can do a lot with this gadget. One caution, I have found that one you load your backing track on one of the 99 available tracks, be careful not to change the tempo of the track as it will corrupt the track and you'll have to reload it or maybe even have to do a factory reset. Changing temps on internal sounds is not a problem such as the built-in drum sounds. But .wav file tempos shouldn't be modified after loading them in. Love this piece of gear!

Great pedal
Awesome for recording lead and rythm ideas. My only complaint is the dub over the main recording is not a separate track. It all records as one track. However, the track can transfer to PC or phone via USB. RC-5 has built in drum loops and metronome making. Overall a great addition to any practice rig for recording.

Decent compact looper station
Things to learn with this one. Very versatile. Much more to it than my old RC-1. You may find yourself watching some youtube videos on how use all the features of this pedal, but they are not really complicated. I took notes when watching the videos so if I forget how to get somewhere on the menu screen I can just look at my notes quick. You will want to order in a power supply because the 9v batteries only last a couple hours in this thing. Keep in mind this is very compact. If you want more control with your foot, then you can add a separate foot controler for better versatility. I don't gig so I don't really need that. I can use the menu screens for whatever I need and the single footswitch is just fine. This turns on by plugging a cable into the output. I gave it 4 stars because there is one thing I really wish it had, and that is a power off switch with a pass through so you could turn it off and still play guitar through your amp without unplugging the cable from the RC-5. That's kind of a pain in the butt, but otherwise I'd throw 5 stars at it.

Simple and smooth
Perfect looper/sampler. I download WAV files into it and use the ‘one shot’ function to play clips in and before my songs. Great purchase

does the job, great sound quality, try to complement it with an external pedal, rule of thumbs for looper pedal, "at least 2 buttons"

It is an amazing pedal, I use it to play some tracks and it works great. Light, strong the only thing I complain. it is how to order your tracks using the software. Good value for money

Great looper, bit of a learning curve
This is a great little looper that has really helped my practice and timing. Steep learning curve to work it out but there are a bunch of YouTube videos to help and you can find the manual online. There's nothing in the box to help you to get started. Using the fs 6 for pedal with it really helps. A few reviews on here complain about the backing track being too loud and potentially damaging equipment. It can be turned down. You just need to take the time to work out all of the settings. I'm an intermediate player just getting in to soloing and scales and this is a great tool to lay a backing track and jam over. I'm still working it out but I love it. Built like a brick shit house like all of the boss pedals. I use rechargeable 9v batteries to save on cords and having to buy the boss power supply

The device stopped powering onn in two weeks. The seller would not allow a replacement or repair.

Cant set the volume of the drum loop. It can break your amp.worst pedal ever.dont buy.
