Incredible enrichment for your furry friend
As a young kitten, my buddy would scarf down his food so fast he would make himself sick. I started using this puzzle to feed him and helped his tummy so much! There are different puzzles to solve and also the big wheel can be โlockedโ into place with your cat needing to figure out whatโs keeping it from spinning. Itโs very enriching and challenges their brain almost like a session of play time! Very well made and easy to clean. Although we no longer use this for feedings, I will put some treats in there if I feel like heโs too bored and needs something to do. We both love it!

Good way to slow down food consumption
Great product to help slow down food consumption for my cats and to get them a little more engaged during the day. My two cats are older and needed more to do during the day and so far, they have really enjoyed the puzzle and after a couple weeks, they figured out how to spin the wheel (the hardest part).

Affordable, Decent Form Factor, Cat Used on First Day, But Slippy Pegs
The quality and durability seem excellent due to the high-quality materials, though I've not done any extensive stress tests. The only notable quality issue is how the circle parts don't seem to stay up on their own very well, and that knocks it down to four stars. Battery life is not applicable because this doesn't use a battery. Weight is adequate to stay grounded without feeling too bulky to move when vacuuming. Noise level is not applicable because it contains no major moving or electrical parts. This would probably be fun for dogs too, as stimulation is stimulation at the end of the day, but dogs require more attention and physical activity, so this would be more for separation anxiety than something useful when you're in the other room. Cats likely will find a more consistent use for this than dogs, but dogs may be at it longer due to their higher intelligence and trainability, thus more potential for engagement and persistence with the higher-level challenges.

Rainy Day Puzzle is Excellent
When my kitty became special-needs, she lost interest in many of her usual activities. So she started begging me for food all day as I worked from home - largely because it was the only thing she could think of to do. She needed a hobby. I tried a treat ball, but she wasnโt interested. I was desperate, so i bought this puzzle. Itโs great because you can scaffold the activities from a half covered treat to actions that require two steps or object permanent memory. She actually prefers this to being given treats by hand, purring as she watches me fill it up. I do double check after sheโs finished, to make anything sheโs missed more accessible when she checks later - thereโs a couple of configurations that need opposable thumbs to fix. Weโve had it about four days and she has figured out the hardest tasks, though it does take her awhile to work through the puzzle, carefully doublechecking that she didnโt miss anything. At this point, I think itโs less about treats and more about the challenge. Honestly, one of the best cat toys Iโve gotten.

Great Toy, one cat has some difficulty
Works as designed. The instructions are very thorough, and make recommendations for how to help your cats learn how to use it, plus ideas to enhance enrichment such as placing the toy in different locations every time so that they can "hunt" for their treats. Of my two cats, one is generally treat motivated and loves to use the toy. It is easy for her to slide the components to reveal the treats and keeps her engaged until she finds all the treats. My other cat, who typically does not play with treat toys as much, does not have quite as long of a snout and had some difficulty getting the treat out of the compartment without using her paw to pull it out. Definitely a little frustrating for her, so it make take a little modification to make the toy work for her. Overall, though, I'm very satisfied with the puzzle toy. It's quiet, big, and feels durable.

Small kibble/snacks get stuck between plastic layers
Very interesting in theory, poor execution in practice. My cat is smart and curious. He enjoys foiling my best laid plans to keep him out of cabinets, doors, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow has opposible thumbs. He also hoobers up his food when I feed him. So purchasing a puzzle food toy like this seemed like a great way to slow down his eating and also exercise his brain. From the get go he was frustrated because he couldn't get the food out of the recessed wells in the toy. Forget manipulating the hole covers, he couldn't even enjoy getting the food out. He got the idea of fishing the food out with his paw. Often times, the food would get stuck between the two plastic layers that allow the covers to move up and down. Other times he'd get the food but the cover would slide down adm knock it from his paw. I would hold the cover so it wouldn't slide down but he just wasn't enjoying it. He doesn't really eat large pieces of food for snacks or otherwise. Nah, this was a bust. I also purchased a larger puzzle toy from this same company that he also didn't enjoy. I'm not sure what he should be doing different to limit his frustration.

Good for kitty!
I love this cat puzzle. Slows down her eating which eliminated her regurgitation issues after inhaling her food too fast and it stimulates her brain. She seems to really enjoy it. I hide the food under the leaves and the ladybugs to make it tougher but she finds all the kibble even if she forgets to check under every ladybug in the moment. Really spaces out her urge to scarf.

Cute and fun but my cat is too smart
Bought this for my foster cat who has endless energy and needs tiring out, unfortunately she figured it out a bit too quickly and now empties the whole thing in about 5 minutes!! But, I still think it's an excellent puzzle, very good quality and worth purchasing. I will be keeping it for future animals, small dogs could use it too.

Perfect puzzle for cats
Cats love to "hunt" for treats in this puzzle toy. They either move a leaf or lady bug to get the treat. Keeps them busy for awhile and is good for their little brains! I hand wash it in the sink now and then. This toy is very high quality - the bugs and leaves are well made and easy to move. I've seen other toys where the moving parts eventually get stuck - I've had this one for a few years and have had no issues.

Cute lil puzzle option
My 5 month old Maine coon loves it. Itโs good quality: sturdy, to hold him standing all over it (right now he is 4kg) : pieces are easy to move so he can get the reward for his efforts but still makes him work for it. Itโs been a good way to introduce him to new places with the distraction of a treat, that lasts a bit longer than giving them to him by hand.
