Fisher Space Pen is Terrific!
The Fisher Space Pen is a terric tool The pen has a great design, Made of solid brass and nicely machined, it is compact when the cap is on. In use with the cap placed on the back end the pen nicely balanced and is not too short. When capped, the pen is conveniently compact and feel like it disappears in our pantrs pocket. The ingeneous refill is totally sealed and nitrogen gas charged so the pen does not rely on gravity. The ink is also a special ink that is more viscous. The pen does write on wet paper and even under water and when writing with the pen upside down. It does write on many glass surfaces as well. Awesome is that Fisher gives a lifetime guarantee on this awesome pen.

My Favorite Pen Ever
HERE'S THE QUICK VERSION: This pen is great. If you're looking for a quality writing device that is durable, dependable, unique, and eye-catching, then look no further. Pick your color/finish and enjoy this tenacious little thing to your heart's content. If you have to buy another one, it will be because you're so in love with it, not because your first one failed to please. HERE'S THE LONG VERSION: I've been a bit of a pen junkie all my life, and have come across various pens that I have both loved and hated. But this pen right here - I friggin love this pen. The rainbow titanium nitride really caught my eye, being both beautiful and distinctive (but if that doesn't float your boat, it comes in a dozen other colors and finishes). It really suits me, and everyone at work knows that that is MY PEN, so I never have to worry about someone slinking off with it "accidentally" and getting away scott-free. As a pen, this thing is wonderful. It's the Jack Russell Terrier of pens: It's small and compact, able to fit in a pocket/wallet/purse with ease and comfort. Yet it's sturdy and tenacious with a quality feel to it, thanks to the brass and steel construction. This pen has survived and excelled at every challenge I have thrown at it, and shows zero signs of wear and tear. It writes the first time, every time. The ink flow is consistent and controlled. I've never had this pen blot, bleed, or fail to give me a quality, consistent ink flow on the page. The black ink appears rich and dark of hue on the page (for a ball point type, don't expect a dark bold line like a gel pen), but doesn't bleed through on even the thinnest of notebook paper. Need to right upside down, catty-corner, or with the paper pressed against the wall or someone's back? No problem. This pen can handle it. I was worried that, since this pen is on the petite side (but with the cap on the end for writing, it's got the comfortable length of a full length writing utensil. Cool!), I would run out of ink pretty quick. Both my job and personal hobbies requires me to do A LOT of handwriting, and I was afraid I'd be going through pen refills like Joan Rivers goes through plastic surgeons. Well, that hasn't been a problem yet! I've had this pen for a solid month and I have yet to order a refill or get an inkling that I need to. The refills, as it seems, are on the affordable side too. The only complaint I would have about this pen: It's so small and handy that you might just take it everywhere and accidentally leave it sitting between the keys on a keyboard or on a desk somewhere. I know I use this pen enough that that has been an issue once or twice, but so far I've always been able to rush back for it before it caught someone's eye, haha.

My Favorite Pen!
I recently acquired the Fisher Space Bullet Space Pen in Rainbow Titanium Nitride (400RB), and I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase. This pen has quickly become my favorite writing instrument, and for good reason. First and foremost, the aesthetic appeal of the Rainbow Titanium Nitride finish is absolutely stunning. The colors are vibrant and add a touch of elegance to an otherwise utilitarian tool. It's not just a pen; it's a stylish accessory that draws attention for all the right reasons. What truly sets this pen apart, though, is its exceptional performance. The Fisher Space Pen writes smoothly and consistently, regardless of the writing surface or angle. The pressurized ink cartridge ensures that it delivers a clean line every time, making it a reliable companion for any writing task. As someone who values durability in their everyday carry items, I appreciate the robust construction of the Fisher Space Pen. The compact design is perfect for pocket or purse, and the sturdy build ensures that it can withstand the rigors of daily use. The pocket clip is an added convenience, making it easy to secure and access whenever needed. One of the standout features of this pen is its ability to write in extreme conditions. Whether I'm jotting down notes in a meeting, documenting thoughts in a rainstorm, or even writing upside down, the Fisher Space Pen performs flawlessly. It's the ultimate tool for those who need a reliable writing instrument in any situation. The Fisher Space Bullet Space Pen in Rainbow Titanium Nitride has earned its place as my favorite pen. Its combination of style, durability, and exceptional performance make it a standout choice for anyone in search of a high-quality writing instrument. I highly recommend it to fellow pen enthusiasts and anyone who values a pen that goes above and beyond the ordinary.

Best Pen Money Can Buy!
Fantastic product with high quality control and a beautiful fit and finish. A+ build quality with an amazing history. Next time someone tells you the Russians used pencils and we spent millions to develop this...tell them the pencil lead dust contaminated the air quality and air filters while our boys stayed healthy and safe! This pen won't cost you a million dollars and will bring a smile with every use. Writes well and has a sharp distinguished look. Easy to use and easier to justify purchasing, pick it up today!

I have stopped looking for "the" pen - finally!
As my wife will tell you, I'm a pen-aholic. We can't go to a store without my veering off to the what's new in the pen aisle. This affliction started when I'd lost a favorite pen of mine which was actually anything but ergonomic, but looked unusual - which was what I liked about it. It had a metal body (always a requirement of mine) with what can only be described as a metal coil (like a shock absorber) which went from the top to the bottom. Like I said, it wasn't necessarily comfortable, but it was an eye-catcher! I picked up a Parker Jotter as a replacement. It was of a magnitude lighter in weight than my previous pen and wrote much nicer. I compared my new pen's lines to my lost one's and fell into a trap. My new pen wrote better, so how much better *can* a pen get? What else is out there that I haven't tried? I became a pen-aholic. Fast-forward 12 years (yes, the sickness continued that long!), and after experimenting with dozens of relatively inexpensive pens (another of my requirements) which even included a short walk through the land of the fountain pen, you'll find me carrying a Fisher Space Pen daily. I will say I have a soft spot in my heart for the Soft Feel Clic by Bic and the G2 .07 by Pilot. The Fisher Space Pen (a.k.a. the "FSP" in various pen forums I've perused) is, by far, the darkest, blackest ballpoint ink ("oil-based") I've found yet. It's a special forumla only Fisher employs, and they put it into pressurized refill so it will write at any angle, or even upside down - even on glass (not that I'd ever need to write on glass, but I tried it, and it worked!). Now, if that wasn't good enough, they put that refill in the most amazing pen case design ever. You could put this in a Parker Jotter pen (or anything that will accept a Jotter's refill) using the refill's included plastic converter top, but I find the bullet pen design so much more interesting... You want an eye-catching pen? How about one that collapses to almost half its size when not in use and returns to a normal-sized pen when needed? How about one with spiral-cut edges near the tip - right where you need it - to ensure it doesn't slip through your grip while using it? How about one encased in chrome-covered brass which is polished to almost mercury slipperiness? Not only is this pen a pleasure to write with, it's a joy to just hold and fiddle with! You'll often find me holding this closed pen, floating it among my fingers, enjoying the feeling of its slippery form. The smoothness of this closed pen works in much the same way as Baoding balls are comforting to roll around in the palm of your hand. While there is no such thing as "the perfect pen," this comes closest for me. There is zero startup necessary - no scribbling in the margin to get it going. The ink flows as soon as you move the point across the page. The flow is smooth and consistent, the line is a deep, dark black. I once wrote on something and the person I handed it to swiped it with her hand, thinking it would smudge, assuming I'd just written with a wet, gel pen. She was surprised to see it was instantly dry. To me, this means the line it lays is so dark and black, it can apparently pass for an extra-fine gel pen. After a dozen years of experimentation, I've finally stopped looking.

Great pen. A bit more pricey than is probably fair, but I own a few and will buy more.
I got one of these on a whim. The "space age" was over fifty years ago now, so the label "space" on something makes little difference to me, but I am abusive to pens. They ride in my pocket, they go through the wash, they go without their caps for months, I write in sub freezing colorado weather, etc. Short of actually taking it into space, life with me is about as rough a test as one of these pens could ask for, and they pass it with flying colors. I have three, not only have they not failed, but they seem to get smoother with use. I know these are pricey for a normal pen. These aren't some antique fountain pen that is all about status. When all is said and done, these are meant to be used for writing, and they do that job amazingly well. I will be buying more, I will be buying refills, and I will recommend this to anyone who regularly finds themselves with dead pens riding around in their pocket/bag. Stupid tip, but head over to a hardware store and buy a small rubber O-ring for the outside of the pen itself. They are slick and small, which means they are easily lost. The 20 cent rubber gromet can add a little friction to the equation, and keep your new brass pen from ending up as couch litter. Get the raw brass. If you are considering this pen, odds are you are hard on them, and you will eventually beat up anodizing or paint, and you'll be left with chips/scuffed paint. The raw brass, on the other hand, seems to get more beautiful over time. The distinct shape of my brip, placement in my pocket, and local climate have lead to a pen that is specifically mine. Do yourself a favor and end up with something personal, not something that looks defaced.

I instantly fell in love with the pen and have owned many more since
This bullet pen has been around for years and I have lost count on how many I have owed over the years. I got one as a gag gift when I was In high school because it was used as a Plot device in the show Seinfeld which I was a huge fan of at the time. I instantly fell in love with the pen and have owned many more since. I have given many away, and many have been stolen of my desk or from my clip board at work over the years too. They are very desirable pens. Lately I have been carrying one tucked away in my wallet as an emergency pen. It is very small and can easily be tucked away in a small location for emergencies. when capped it can be kept in a first aid kit, an Altoids EDC tin, most wallets, in an ID card holder, In a purse of makeup kit, a cigarette pack, or any other small spot. When opened the cap extends the size of the pen to that of a standard sized pen making it very comfortable to write with. There is also very fine machined rings at the gripping point giving it a very clingy texture so it doesn't slip out of your hands while writing. This is very nice since the chrome surface on the rest of the pen is very slippery. Of course the best part of the pen is the Ink cartridge. It comes with a Medium point which is more of a large point in my opinion but there is a fine point refill available (which is more like a Medium point). It does write upside down as advertised but that is not the most impressive part of this pen. I work aboard ships, boats, and around machines constantly. I like the fisher space pen cartridges because they are capable of writing on wet or oil stained paper. regular ball point pens will not and marker or gel point pens might work for a little while in these conditions but will eventually fail. the space pen will work 9 times out of 10. Its my go to pen in the field or in abnormal weather conditions.

Small then Big
Compact space pen that easily fits in your pocket, I take it with me for meetings in case of need. With the cap on the back it handles like a full size pen, decent weight and writes well.

Always works.
The usual high quality space pen. Nice compact size when closed, good length and feel when open. Very smooth and comfortable to write with but, best of all for those that haven't tried them, they always work immediately. No test scribbles with these!

Expensive for what it is, but nice pen nice finish. Converted my refill to a D1 so I don't have to buy the ridiculously expensive SPR4 refills.
