Beware the peg winder, but the rest of this kit is great.
I love my new mandolin, but the strings were dead. The strings that came with this set were perfect, and changing strings was a breeze. Except for the peg winder, which was just garbage. I've used peg winders in the past that worked perfectly, but this one was worse than not using a winder at all, because the winder couldn't stay on the key.The strings give a beautiful bright sound. They are quite playable and make the mandolin a joy to use. The capo works well, and the string cutter, as well as the picks. THis kit set me up for performance, except for that pesky winder.

Very good E strings
Great deal, all I really needed were E strings, but really like spring strength of the capo.

Poorly wound strings
Lots of goodies here. I like the string wire cutter, but the loops on both E strings unwound and broke loose before they even came up to pitch. Poorly made. Also the crank winder might fit guitar pegs, but ate too big for the mandolin keys, making it useless here.

As the title says. Comes with all pictures parts as of my purchase date. Combination winder/cutter is a wonderful tool to have no matter what instrument you play

Poor Quality
One string out of one of the sets was missing. There was multiple strings break during the stringing and tuning. I went and bought other strings from another soarce. would not recomend purchasing these strings. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good quality strings. Capo is a bit odd for the mandolin neck. Stringing tool is very useful

strings are very brittle, and came unwound at the anchor loop.
OK for the money but forget about the tools and put your dollars toward good strings to start with.
