Great healing for stitches
AROMATIKA St Johns Wort Infused Oil I used this AROMATIKA St. John's Wort Infused Oil on a wound with stitches, hoping it would help with healing. It did seem to help the healing process, which was good. However, I noticed the progress was quite slow compared to when I've used other chemical-based products for similar wounds. So, while it did assist in healing, it wasn't as fast as I had hoped for. It's a natural option that works, just be prepared for slower results.

Remember, it's olive oil
I had tried to order the calendula oil Amazon used to have that was calendula infused in safflower or grapeseed oil (I've forgotten which), but it wasn't available, and so I got this instead, which is infused in olive oil. I'll add that olive oil is the usual oil for infusion of calendula. Compared to what I had before (the oil itself had no scent), I could smell the olive oil mixed with the smell of calendula, which is not a bad mixture, but not as desirable as what I was used to because it made the calendula scent not as prominent. I used this oil in a hand lotion recipe, and that's where things went wrong. Olive oil doesn't soak into the skin as easily as other oils. While I could no longer smell the olive oil with the other ingredients, my lotion would absolutely not work into my skin. This particular calendula oil was the only change. (Now I use the lotion only at night with cotton gloves on, and the lotion soaks in by morning.) Depending on what you want to do with your calendula oil, I would suggest examining the label to see which oil the calendula has been infused in. It makes a difference, depending on your application. The olive oil did not work for me at all, and I will continue looking for calendula infused in a different oil, as that will suit my purposes better.
