How do you buy games for it

You can buy digital games from a variety of sources, including from the Xbox store on the console. They also have Gamepass which is a monthly subscription service offering over 100 games. I would like to add that the information provided my a previous person about Playststion is inaccurate. You can buy digital games from multiple sources for both Xbox and PlayStation. You just use the code in the online stores on either console to download them.

Will this play all of the xbox series x games

Accepted Answer

Yes, but at lowervresolution than the series X.  So for example the Series S can run Fortnite at 4k 120hz but is upscaling the game from around 1080p.   Any demanding game that runs on the PS5 or Series X runs the same on the S but by rendering at 1080p to 1440p.   Less demanding games run at true 2160p 60FPS. The S is more powerful than the PS4 Pro or One X it has a much newer GPU and far more powerful CPU.  So it does what the series X does just at 50% less screen res in very demanding AAA titles.  You still get the hd textures, raytracing and all the new jazz.

Do amazon take payment straight away or on release day ?

Having queried payment with Amazon, I’ve been given conflicting replies. Firstly, I was told that payment was only taken from my bank upon despatch of goods. They then took the money from my account without despatching my order. Now they tell me their policy is that they collect payment 5 days after placing an order, whether the order has been despatched or not!. They’ve now taken £104.99 from my account on 18th October, but have advised my order won’t be delivered until 11th Dec! They have therefore had my money for nearly two months prior to shipping. When I complained by phone,  they put me on to a supervisor. The line was poor and he said let me ring you back. I gave him my number and some 3 hours later not had a call back. Appalling service!
