not the real deal , however a good deal.
its easy to assemble. I did hurt my finger though. well labelled. packed with common sense and labelled using common sense so assembly shouldn't be an issue. read the instructions exactly as they dictate and do as the instructions say. I didn't and had to do some disassembly so beware. they know better then you . sturdy and large enough and tall enough to accommodate 30kg xl travel suit cases under the bed. easy to get stuff under and out of the bad space. the only issue I have is the mattress keeps sliding across the frame. its ok if you climb the bed in a normal way. I haven't had to adjust the mattress in a month . had to adjust it only once after buying the base. so might no be such a big issue . will not work for Childern jumping on mattress. might pull through such abuse. no headboard connector. 41cm isn't that tall for a bed unless you are old.i have 50cm mattress on top the 41cm frame and I can climb in to bed easily . the mattress sliding might also be a good feature if you want to change bedsheet or look at stuff underneath the bed. which they made it in white colour. need to assemble inside room . its light weight frame yet its also sturdy. better then regular beds and not as bad as ikea bed assembly. I would also think its better then those beds with shock absorbers that lift the base for storage, some poor soul got caught under that bed alone. so choose wisely and this is my suggestion for safe and tried and trusted items.

A brilliantly engineered bed that’s a joy to build and built to last
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this one truly deserved it. This bed is absolutely phenomenal — both in build and quality. It’s a real joy to assemble, and you can tell straight away that it’s been designed with care and longevity in mind. Everything feels well-crafted and precisely engineered, right down to the inclusion of a special tensioning tool for the Allen keys. The pieces fit together beautifully. Occasionally, you’ll need to flex or adjust a piece slightly to get it to slide into place, but don’t force anything — everything fits as intended once properly aligned. One bit of advice for anyone building it: since these parts are machine-made in bulk, you may come across a piece that doesn’t line up perfectly at first. If that happens, gently twist the bar or frame to ensure it’s straight before slotting it in. I found this particularly with the main structural bed bars. There’s no need for a hammer or mallet — just a patient hand and a small twist, and it goes together perfectly. If I had any suggestion for the manufacturer, it would be to check for slight warping or twisting in the metal pieces during production, as identifying those early would make assembly absolutely flawless. Overall, a fantastic product — well-designed, sturdy, and clearly built to last. Highly recommended.

Fantastic minimalist frame
Simple, elegant, sturdy bed frame, I needed something without fabric and this jas worked so well. Easy to assemble as per instructions, I was able to do it in under an hour single handedly. Comes with good quality screws and a great allen key tool that saves finger stress. For perfect alignment, It helps to screw in with hand first to start with, until all joints are in place and then adjust before screwing in tight with the tool. My 30 cm thick mattress doesnt move much, but a lighter one may need mattress holder attachment to keep in place as the frame has a plain smooth finish. Great value for money. A perfect minimalist buy!

Sturdy for the Price, but Assembly Requires Patience
Review: I purchased the Zinus Van Super King Bed Frame (180x200 cm, 41 cm height, black metal) as a budget-friendly option with the bonus of underbed storage. After using it for some time, I can say it’s surprisingly solid for the price point, with a well-thought-out design that makes it functional for everyday use. Pros: Good value for money: Despite its slim, minimal design, the frame feels sturdier than expected and supports weight well for daily use without bending or obvious creaking. Functional height & storage: The 41 cm clearance is perfect for storing boxes, suitcases, or seasonal items underneath, which makes it ideal for rooms with limited space. Clear labeling & instructions: Every part was clearly labeled, which made following the instructions straightforward. This small detail saves time and frustration during assembly. Quality included tool: The included assembly tool was actually good quality — better than the flimsy ones that come with most flat-pack furniture — making the build process more manageable. Simple, modern look: The matte black finish blends well with most bedroom styles and feels neutral and timeless. Cons: Assembly time for one person: Even with clear labeling, it took me over an hour to assemble alone. A second pair of hands would make it faster and easier. Slight flex when shifting: While stable overall, there’s a faint movement when rolling over in bed. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it doesn’t have the rock-solid feel of a premium frame. Additional Notes: The steel slat support system feels like a good alternative to wooden slats, and the snug fit of the mattress helps reduce frame movement. For the best experience, I’d recommend pairing it with a heavier mattress to keep everything more anchored. Final Verdict: This bed frame delivers solid functionality at a reasonable price. The labeling and quality tool provided made assembly far less stressful, and the underbed clearance is genuinely useful. If you want a simple, practical frame with decent sturdiness and storage space, this is a good choice, just allow yourself some extra time for the build.

Brilliant in all regards
So it's a metal bed, ok there are loads of them, however not all beds are made equal, the assembly is a breeze, join all the same numbers together and that's it 🫶 everything makes sense, it had rounded corners so you don't remove your shins when you crash into it in the middle of the night, it went up in ten minutes , very strong but easy to move. It also has tape on half the slats for securing a mattress and rubber as well for reducing slippage, the attention to detail extends even to the ratchet Allen key that came with it ❤️❤️ never seen that ever. Hats off.

Look No Further. Just Buy It!
This is the very best piece of flat pack furniture I’ve ever purchased! The bed frame arrived in a strong cardboard box and upon opening it each section was individually wrapped and numbered and a toolkit and instruction sheet was also provided with a blister pack of screws and washers. The bed frame is manufactured from mild steel and the welding and black powder coated paint finish is first class. Assembly is incredibly easy and all you have to do is match up the numbers on each of the components. The bed frame is very sturdy and there are non slip tapes on some of the cross sections that help prevent the mattress from slipping. In fairness, if the mattress is on the heavy side, medium to firm, then it will stay in position without the the tapes. For the price point this bed frame represents incredible value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

For a king size bed frame this is little gem!
Bought to replace a broken king size wooden bed frame in emergency as appeared to be a cheap and quick fix courtesy of prime delivery. Have to say this was very easy to assemble.. it's recommended that you use 2 people to assemble but I was able to assemble this frame on my own quite easily.... The ratchet tool is fantastic and definitely made assembly easier. Bed frame when assembled is sturdy and fit for purpose giving a good 🛏️ height when mattress is placed on top ... I hate low bed frames. The no slip strips help to keep the mattress in place. So far no complaints...no squeaks or rattles considering this is a metal frame. Seriously considering buying another one for the spare room that had a new bed installed last year but it's already falling to bits and creaks.

Super simple but sturdy bed.
Arrived in such a small box that I wondered if parts had been forgotten, but, once I took it all out and laid it out, confirmed it was all there. Im a bit of a girly nerd when it comes to building furniture and always lay everything out and check against the contents to make sure I have it all, then follow the instructions to the tee, subsequently, I built this bed, alone in less than 20 minutes. (including reading the instructions and counting out the parts) My husband came upstairs to see if I needed help, only to find the bed built, mattress installed and bedding already on. Every joint is number coded and every bolt is the same hex key size (which they provide a typical L shaped hex key as well as a very very handy little racket one) so its an absolute cinch to build. I joined all the sections together and only did the screws up about 90% until I knew it was all square, although the frame is shaped in such a way, that each leg fits perfectly into its matching shape. Initially I thought it was going to be lacking in sturdiness, however, nipping the bolts up to full tight the bed is now rock solid. Yes its lighter weight than a wooden bed would be and moved a little on the laminate floor, but once the mattress is on (which ours is really heavy) it stays put, yet is easy enough to pull forward and back to make the bed. If I wanted it less movable, I could stick a small bit of rug gripper underneath each leg and it wouldn't budge. Its particularly good for small rooms as theres no bulk on the sides or ends, plus you can easily store things underneath. My son has the large plastic Swedish store trofast tubs full of lego and they fit under perfectly. All the slat parts are metal oval tubes, so they may bend (although they seem strong enough to hold significant weight) but they shouldn't break like wooden ones, other than the two centre bars, the rest have nice little brackets they just slot into with a reassuring clunk. . Im planning on buying a nice headboard and fixing it to the wall (not only because there are no headboard holes, but also I find that even on beds that do have headboard holes, the headboards still wobble, by fixing to the wall, the headboard is solid when leaning against it reading in bed) Price has gone up by £24 since I bought it a couple of weeks ago, but even at the current price, its a seriously good value bed. *** it is now over a year since I bought this bed and its still as sturdy as the day I built it even with a teenager hurling himself onto it several times each day. I did have to retighten a couple of the bolts after a few weeks but haven't had to since. Theres no evidence of damage, bending or rusting on any it. I stand by my review that its such good value.

Comparison of wooden and metal slat models.
I've purchased two Zinus bed frames in the last month. This is a review of the 16 inch Metal Platform Bed Frame with Steel Slat Support. The other bed I purchased is the Modern Studio 14 inch Platform 3000 with Wooden Slat Support. The review will compare them as I think they both are very good for what they cost but there are reasons why you might choose one over the other. I live on the Canadian prairies where mildew will never be a problem due to the extreme dryness of the climate. Assembly: The metal slat bed has a more pieces and was a more involved build. The frame sides are in two pieces. The instructions had me assembling the foot of the frame into U with the feet attached and the head into an n with the feet attached. I was then to join the two assemblies into the complete frame. When I went to do so, one of the sides had a slight twist preventing the join. I tried using a large adjustable spanner (Crescent wrench) to twist the rectangular tube to fit. The frame material is very solid so this was not successful. I loosened the leg and the attachment of the side piece to the end piece and this allowed the join to be made. This problem speaks to how solidly the frame is built. The wooden frame went together without any hitches and with fewer steps. The metal slat bed kit included spare fasteners but the wooden slat kit did not. One of the hex holes on a bolt on the wooden slat bed stripped but the head was large enough to be able to use a Vise grip to finish the tightening. The finished build on both beds was very solid and I don’t doubt that both will be around after 20 years of daily use. The metal slat model seems to be the more robust of the two. It has three middle support legs vs one on the wooden slat model. Design: The wooden slat model has 12 slats that are 65 mm wide and the metal model has 10 slats that are 12 mm wide. The wooden slat model does a better job of distributing the weight of the mattress. The metal slats are held in place with tabs welded onto the frame. They are not going anywhere. The wooden slats are held in place with Velcro. It might be necessary to redo the Velcro at some point in time (although probably not as there won’t be a lot of stress put on the Velcro under normal use.) The wooden slats appear to be of sufficient quality that they won’t warp from the dry weather however only time will tell. If you have a need for extra strength (say rambunctious teen-aged boys) or you want to save a few dollars (the metal frame model is slightly less expensive,) you might opt for the metal frame model. Both of these beds offer great value for a low price.

Bastante resistente
