I knew exactly what i was looking for, and tried several other ropes; this is the only one that matched all criteria perfectly: had to be elastic, had to fit my large wrist without being too tight or too loose, didnt want large beads (equals huge bracelet), and beads has to be uniform and easy to thumb through. Loved it and immediately ordered another one for a gift. To me it didnt look/feel of poor quality or cheap at all but i also was not looking for jewelry.

The item is exactly as described and works as it should. Some reviewers complained that these don't hold up well underwater or as a fashion accessory. I hate to break it to them, but they're called prayer beads, not scuba beads or bling beads. If you're looking for a necklace, try a jewelry store. If you're looking to pray, these are perfect! I received them really fast, and I'm glad the money I spent will be used to support my Orthodox Brothers and Sisters who are building the Monastery in Arizona.

You need very small wrist for this item to be useful. The one I received was too large to keep on wrist even when doubled up on wraps.

I like the beads and wanted to wear them on my wrist but they are either too loose or too tight. I carry them in my pocket most days .
