Great waterproof keypad
I took a gamble when there were zero reviews and loved it. I came back to buy another and this thing is poorly rated. I’m not sure if people don’t understand it? It has broken English instructions that walks you through setting codes and linking the included NFC 125 fobs. You can set one as a “programming” fob and use it to link more. You can unlock with codes. Plenty of options. The gist of it: red and black for 12v power. Gray and yellow are normally open, closed when unlock is happening. It has a second relay for a doorbell that I hear clicking but I’m not using. Mine came non-operational. The yellow wire had slid out of the wire harness and then waterproof gelatin was laid over it disconnected. With a continuity tester, I wedged it back in and got it working. I’ll silicone my gouges. This comes with some sort of rubbery gel coating on the entire rear of the circuit board. It appears that you could almost submerse it in water (don’t do that but definitely safe for splashes)

Update: Beeping died after 2 months (Original: easy install and worked out of the box )
Edit: 2 months post installation it still opens the gate but the unit no longer beeps when keys are pressed. The support/replacement options here are non-existent unfortunately, so changing rating. Sad - otherwise a good unit but dying that quickly isn't encouraging.. -- original review ---- I got this to replace a dying Bulldog GTO. the docs are minimal but have everything you need. It worked with the bulldog solenoid. unit installed easily and worked first try. accidentally had power reversed and it didn’t break. if you are mounting it outside you will need something waterproof for the wiring. The unit itself has a sealed motherboard but you have bare wires to connect which I’m guessing are usually on the inside of a wall but we just had a gate so had to build an enclosure.

Manufacturer Refusing to Provide Replacement
The unit I was shipped does not function. It doesn’t not close to excite the controller when either the tag is scanned or the key code is pressed. Manufacturer requested I send a video for proof which is impossible to do on your own. Manufacturer refused response after I clarified video could not be provided. I know sit with a paper weight.

Setting up as an Exterior Garage Door Opener KeyPad
This is a very good and reasonably priced security keypad for several applications. In my particular situation I bought it to use as a security keypad for my garage door opener. On the interior of the garage I have a standard 2-wire push-button to open or close the door. When on the outside of the garage I need to perform the same function, but with security. This unit allows for activation using both pin codes - entered via the keypad, or you can program one of the small fobs they provide (large package of fobs included). The only negative aspect of this whole item (which seems to be so prevalent in VERY many products from China) is the instructions. As far as programming the pin codes and the key fobs, it is adequate. HOWEVER, when it comes to understanding the wiring of this unit the instructions are less than worthless! If you happened to read the review by KPL ("Great Waterproof Key Pad") he sums it up: The RED wire is 12V (+) and the BLACK wire is12V (-). The two operating wires which function the same as your interior push button are the YELLOW and the GRAY. If you're using this item to function like a secure push button, this will do it. This is a great item and the only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 starts is the wholly inadequate instructions. Hope this helps.

Super easy to understand and setup. Programming is simple and straight forward. I have these installed on an outside door and an interior door coupled with magnetic latches. Just key in the code or swipe the tag and with a push of the door, you're in. No fumbling with keys. I shielded the outdoor one with the plastic cover, also sold on Amazon, just to give it a fair chance against the weather. Time will tell how reliable they are. Really nice for our Airbnb.

One of our team that speaks Chinese ended up getting in touch with the source factory. We wired several of them in for wiegand 26 by connecting red to our 12v input and the corresponding wiegand 26 or 34 wire (d0, d1 - I think they were green and purple) to our neutral black wire from the wiegand door controllers until it flashed and beeped. The keypads were then wired up according the 4 wire diagram (no 5th wire for LED). Long story short, they don't work, and after all that the factory said (in Chinese) to ignore the wiegand wiring because the controller doesn't actually work for wiegand... We sent them all back and went with a Retekess K10EM keypad instead that actually works with the wiegand system.

No support, no useful or accurate technical information. Conflicting information between the labelling on the product and the manual. Can't change the jumper settings because the jumpers have been covered with epoxy. It's a nice looking piece of equipment that is fairly well made but that is of no use if you can't get the keypad to work. I don't understand how companies can operate with no vendor information, no web site, no support and in general, everything is suspicious.
