HydraMed Night Sensitive 5g Tube

This was recommended by our vet so review applies for use on a dog. This is a great option if you need something mild but effective. It applies smoothly, doesn’t sting, and noticeably helps by morning. The small tube is convenient for travel or keeping in a bedside drawer.

I've switched to this because it doesn't have lanolin. It suits my eyes very well and helps with keeping them moist at night. It can be messy in the morning but that's the price you pay to have comfortable eyes

We buy this for our 3yo after eyelid surgery (ptosis frontalis flap) to use on the scar and in the eye at night. Touch wood there's been no reaction (op in June - now sept) seems to keep her eyes moist over night. The only issue and it is so Blumin annoying!!!! Is that it starts squirting out as soon as you take the lid off and just keeps on pouring out, like there is too little space (too much pressure) but it works amazing. Annoying that we have to buy it even though it can be got on prescription but our useless drs "can't find it" yet surgery up the road can .... You make sense of it 🤦🏽‍♀️

I have severe photo sensitivity which causes dry eyes, and this ointment is incredible. It is helping my eyes a lot. I have many allergies caused by histamine intolerance and this particular ointment, hydromed night sensitive, does not give me any problems unlike other brands which contain lanolin. Sometimes I do wear it in the day as well but it can cause some blurring because it is a thick ointment. I will definitely buy it again, and will buy it regularly.

Brilliant if you can’t tolerate lanolin or hyaluronic acid which are present in most other ointments. Really helping restore comfort to my dry eyes.

This is excellent. The one my optician recommended had lanolin in it, and I'm allergic to it. This one is lanolin free and works very well. The tube is also sturdier than other brands.

I have used better ones but this product is ok but can feel a bit uncomfortable in the morning just at first as you open your eyes

Was recommended by the Animal Eye Hospital for our dog’s dry eye and it works well. It is difficult to make sure that too much doesn’t come out at once - it has to be squeezed very gently. We keep it in the fridge to increase viscosity of the ointment
