Mostly one piece although one snip and you could make it shorter very easily.

No, those are sold separately. However, it does come with a hanging hook so that it can be hung right out of the box. The anchor is optional.

Can I combine two chains to make it longer? I need 12 feet.

Yes you can. You will need to separate the links and reconnect to an additional segment to achieve your desired length. You may need additional cutting and soldering, depending on your specific needs and situation, but this is done frequently.

Can this rain chain be used without a gutter if placed at a right-angle corner which angles inward?

It all depends if the chain can be positioned where the water flows off. Usually in this kind of situation there will need to be some kind of wider receptacle to then concentrate the into a smaller outlet that leads to the chain, because the opening of the cups is only about 3", so most runoff will not be concentrated to such a small opening without a funnel type receptacle in place.
