R4 Apple TV Remote Retro Case

I bought this to replace my previous case. I'd say this one is abit more durable. If you see reviews complaining about covering some of the touch pad on the remote that's normal. All covers are like that as was my previous. It's hard not to cover it because it's edge to edge. I love the design and was the only reason I went with this and I am very happy with it. The ONLY thing I can say negative about it is don't get the glow in the dark. I should've known better. No glow in the dark items ever work out as intended. They don't hold onto the light. Definitely go with the original, which is what I should've done. I liked how the original looks, and is very visible. Since the glow in the dark is see-through, the d pad and buttons aren't as popping as they would be had it been opaque.

Very nice accessory. Little reminder of the old days with the controller look. Greatest benefit is that it hasn’t slipped in between the couch cushions since we put it on the Apple TV remote! Also very easy to find with the tiny lanyard, even if our cat is lying on it!

I’ve had this for a few years and it still looks brand new. Fits perfectly. Good quality. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and color accuracy of the photos provided by elago. I originally purchased this after seeing it publicized in The Verge, but I was fully prepared to be let down. Thankfully I was not. Obviously there is no functionality of the buttons on the rear, but this serves as a nice piece of nostalgia for anyone growing up in the 90s. There are cutouts for all the important antennas inside of the remote such as the IR blaster to prevent range issues, and so far I’ve had no problems at all. Package also includes a wrist strap if you decide to use it.

Was constantly loosing our Apple Remote between the couch. Wanted a cover that help add grip to the remote and make it a little easier to find. Don’t expect the strap to last long because the area it attaches to the cover will tear.

This is my second one of these, I got one for my main living room TV ages ago because my mom kept loosing the extra small channel changer. With the wrist strap and the fact it isn’t little and mostly black anymore it doesn’t get misplaced like it used to so I got one for my bedroom tv too and I am not loosing it like I used to loose it.

Great quality and fits perfectly! We are old school gamers so we love the style!

Tras caérsele a mi hija en un par de ocasiones el mando decidí que una funda para dicho accesorio sería adecuada. No quería porque el mando es estéticamente espectacular pero el segundo batacazo me hizo cambiar de opinión. Al ver el diseño de esta no me lo pensé. Me costó acostumbrarme al tacto pero ahora me parece ideal en cuanto a agarre y protección. Además, si lo manejas a oscuras ahora ya tengo una referencia para saber si lo he cogido bien o del resvés. Satisfecho con la compra.
