This is an awesome tool! Sad I waited so long to buy one works extremely well. Would recommend some kind of small 1/2” or smaller spatula type tool to smooth/ lock down the plastic before it hardens. Also heats up very quick hardly any waiting.

The heat adjustment settings are a plus. Did a nice job repairing cracked interior trim on my 25 year old van. Storage box is ideal for keeping everything in one place. Did my homework reading reviews on various brands. Decided on this product and am very satisfied with the purchase.

I love the idea of reinforcing with steel plastic welder joints and this thing makes it so easy to melt in a reinforcement to any kind of joint you are plastic welding together, it heats up very quickly and works amazingly well!!

I have done many repairs with this unit since I got it. From dashboards to mower hoods to repairing plastic gas caps. I have installed hundreds of staples/clips so far. PROS EASY to use NICE case GOOD assortment of clips GOOD quality of everything. Very well built CONS Cut off end fly and leave behind a very sharp point. Bending breaks them off without the point but is time consuming A LITTLE like threading a needle, not for production work HOLES in handle at 45 deg for clips not drilled the same, one at 45 other at 90. Makes it hard for clips to stay in. It's hard to find cons. For the money this thing is the bomb! If it died tomorrow I would buy another the same day. I've tried other plastic welders and nothing compares to this. It fuses the plastic together and reinforces it with the wire to help keep it together. PERFECT. TIP, if at all possible do the repair from the back side. It does give the effect of stitched in appearance. Overall I give this plastic welder 5 STARS. The many positives way out weigh the few negatives.

This hot stapler is awesome. Temp control is nice. But you don't really need setting 3.4.5. Unless you are smoothing out your work with the blade. Only issue I found is sustained use with blade on 4 gets the leads hot to touch (hence the 4 stars). Leads my be too small of gage or not isolated as good as they should be. None the less, I would buy another one when it breaks.

Incredible product. Stapler : Very well built , feels quality, bright and controllable display. Heats crazy hot I’m seconds on the highest setting. I’ve use other staplers and payed more for worse for units. Tool box : is simple and cheep not a big concern to me , I care more about the tool and they nailed it Accessories: comes with a TON of different types on staples , I won’t even go through them in five years lol . Snips are ok , not really the right ones for cutting staples in my experience. It’s best to use pig hoof style plier snips to cut them as you can get it in more places and cut it closer. These are more like tile snips Over all : a great purchase, would give it 10/10 for me and I’ve been doing body work now professional for 12 years

Wow, I'm so glad I got this one versus the cheaper ones that are all integrated into the hand tool. It worked amazingly well. The quality seems very good.
