How do you advance the script as a one person show? A second device link via wifi through app?

You need to download the app for whatever program you are using for promoting. I use TelePrompTer plus and download the app to my phone then use Bluetooth to connect the two

Will this work with the 12.9" iPad Pro?

I was able to MAKE it fit by taking off the iPad support, cutting it with a hacksaw in the middle, separating it a bit, and gluing it back on. A hack, to be sure, but the 12.9" is almost the exact size of the glass, so it works great!

What is typically the furthest you can set the prompter from the talent and have it still be legible?

we set it up at 10 feet..and it is really, really easy to see and use. I might imaging 15ish feet would still work. We use a Samsung tablet with free teleprompter software. This allows us to regulate font size and scroll speed. The further from the actor, the less eye-wiggle. And at 10 feet, in a large font...no eye movement is discernible

It will work with most camcorders. It stays put by mounting to a tripod which is not included. It will work with most ipads. You will need to get teleprompter software for your ipad in order to use it. The prompter software will determine what kind of scrolling you can do with the text.
