WOW This is a huge step up from the typical soda makers
This is my 2nd soda machine and WOW, it is a big step up from the standard style, and a much better bargain, too. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a system that allows you to heavily carbonated sugary beverages. That is the #1 advantage of this system. It is just as easy to use though the steps are different. Be advised, there is an o ring that needs to be installed before attaching the co2 tank. The instructions make no mention of it. I thought it was defective because gas spewed everywhere after attaching the tank. It wasn't until I was repacking it that I notice a 2nd cap squeezed deep into the packing materials with a tiny package with the o ring inside. I had already requested a replacement and now I have to return the 2nd because Amazon was amazingly fast at sending another. The bottles are tall and thin, so I store them on their sides. The shape makes heavy carbonation easier and the caps seal tightly, so they don't leak. This is not a negative if what you want is a lot of carbonation. The steps are different too. First, add the flavoring, then chilled water, attach the injector cap, and then inject the co2. The instructions suggest pushing the button for 2 to 3 seconds up to 3 times until the level is to your liking. I have found that 1, 3 second burst is enough but have tried a 2nd burst. It was overkill for my taste. Once you have achieved the desired amount of carbonation and removed the bottle from the machine, it is recommended that you tip the bottle from side to side to absorb more of the co2 and to mix the syrup or flavorings added. There will be significant frothing in sugary drinks. Before you can remove the injector cap, you need to give the beverage a few seconds to settle. Then release the excess gas by turning the cap 1st to the slow-release setting then to the faster setting. (Again, this takes seconds). And finally, you remove the injector cap and replace it with the sealed cap provided to store the drink. Sure, you will lose a small amount of carbonation in this process but whatever the loss, it is slight compared to adding flavorings after carbonating the water. And that is it. You now have 2.4, 12 oz servings of soda. The injector is cleaned by simply immersing it in plain warm water for a few minutes then allowing it to air dry. I recommend purchasing an extra injector if you are going to make several different flavors. That way you always have a clean and dry injector for use. Look for the package deal offered. Mine came with 3 injectors & 4 bottles. The bottles store fine on their side and will keep it carbonated for at least 24 hours. If it does go flat, you can carbonate it again. I highly recommend this machine for soda lovers. It is a bonus that it is attractive. I got the bronze color, and it is true that the machine is a deep bronze color while the trim on the bottles is more of a rose gold that compliments the machine. The coordinated colors are beautiful. PS. If anyone has a good cola syrup recipe, I would appreciate it if you could share it with me :)

Game-Changer for Sparkling Water Lovers!
The Twenty39 Qarbo CLASSIC has completely transformed my hydration routine! Its sleek and lightweight design fits perfectly in my kitchen, and the ease of use is unmatched. I love how I can infuse fresh fruit flavors directly into the bottle—goodbye, boring plain water! The carbonation system is efficient, and the two-stage pressure release valve ensures no loss of fizz, even with syrups or fruit infusions. What sets this apart is the attention to detail: the wide-mouth bottles make it easy to add ingredients, and the measurements on the bottles help me get the perfect mix every time. It's not just a soda maker; it's a tool for creativity and healthier living. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to elevate their beverage game. Worth every penny!

Highly recommend!
We really like this - makes great soda water. Look nicer on counter than Soda Stream and takes up less space. Bottles are easy to keep clean. Can add fruit and other things to flavor water. Wish the bottles were glass to get away from plastic. Benn using for a year now and would recommend.

Love at first sight!
I love this product. We had a soda stream many time with “love for short period - then bored” type experience. This product is different. I love the shape of the bottle ( reminds me of Voss water bottles which I love), they are easier to clean as well than regularly shaped bottle. I am absolutely CRAZY about the ability to add fruit etc to your sparkling water without the need to add any type of artificial flavor drops. Kids also added the regular soda mixes (from soda stream) like coke, root beer, and my tonic water :))) with a success. The down side - it is a bit spendy considering it comes without the Co 2 tank and also feels like a bit cheap plastic. - none of the less looks very slick on the counter and does not take much space at all! Would by it again.

First Impression . . . .and follow-up GOOD!
UPDATE We got the CO2 cartridges and have made about 15 litters of bubbly water. Unit is performing well. We went to the maximum suggested 3X a 1-2 second press on the valve release. This gave us a sparkling water that was very carbonated and mimicked a local grocery chain’s product, which we love. So far, so good. And satisfied, here. My earlier review is below, if interested. ******** I’ll return and post a more detailed review, when the CO2 cartridges arrive and the unit is put through its paces. CONS: At first wash, though, I was amazed at: 1) How lightweight and thin most of the plastic is. In fact, when I picked up the packaging—a carton—I thought the manufacturer must have left the unit out. Everything, today, is plastic, but this product seems particularly light in weight, for the price charged. 2) Because the plastic is so light, the chrome/plastic finish seems even cheaper looking when handling the unit. 3) The two container “jars” are extremely tall/thin, as pictured. We have fridge shelf space for something that tall, but with no wide base on the bottom of the plastic container to stabilize it, I can see that this plastic jar will easily turn over in the fridge. I suspect, if we like the carbonated water, we’ll descant it into another, more user-friendly container. However, I wonder how much “fizz” will be lost in needing this extra process. And this need defeats the purpose of having an extra jar that came with the unit. PROS: 1) Because of the thin/tall design, the unit doesn’t have a large footprint for storage on a shelf, if you have a shelf that can handle the height. 2) VERY simple to use and straightforward, it seems. 3) Because it is so lightweight (and, I fear, more prone to cracking), the company uses volumes of foam, cardboard, and general packing material. This is good, as the unit was flawless, when opened, but, then, you have LOTS to recycle, too, so .. . . . More later.

I've had this water carbonator for nearly a month now & I absolutely love it. It came without the gas canister. This was the hardest thing to find actually. My local Tesc0 didn't stock it. Eventually I found them on the shelves of Sain$burns. Remember to keep your empty cannisters because you get money off your exchange. For me that's £10 each time. I'm now into my second cannister, so that shows how often I'm using it. (For this you need the blue Sodastream one.... not the pink one 😉) It is plastic, but it looks good on my countertop. It comes with 2 plastic 800ml bottles which is enough for 4 large glasses of water. My portable water bottle holds 750ml, which is nearly all of one bottle. I have a plumbed in fridge & the bottles do not stand in the alcove to fill them with filtered water. I have to hold them. No biggie, but some people might not like this. The bottles fit easily into my fridge (American type). Instructions are clear & easy to follow. There is a different lid for pumping the gas in... it has a long nozzle. 2-3 x 3 second pumps for high fizz. There are "gas release" markings on the bottles to slowly release gas before totally removing this lid, to put on the ordinary lid. Usually with water this is quick, but I've found, with for example squeezed lemon juice, it fizzes up quite a bit, so this process takes a few seconds longer. I've used it with Sodastream syrups. We've fizzed up ordinary cordial/squash juices. I haven't tried wine or cocktails yet, but I can't see them being a problem. The taste of the water is the same as bought bottled water (in my opinion). The only negative is that the fizz doesn't last more than 24 hours. Shop bought fizzy drinks seem to last longer. But again this isn't that big a deal... just fizz up what you need (or re-fizz if necessary). The whole process doesn't take long to do. Seriously, within less than 5 minutes you've got 2 bottles of fizzy whatever! I fill my on the go water bottle. Just be careful when opening it!! It shoots up everywhere quite spectacularly! This really has increased my consumption of water as I don't really enjoy plain water. Yes, I know the fizzy water is more acidic, so it's not great for my teeth. But balanced against upping my water intake against brushing my teeth more often, I think it's OK. So far I'd highly recommend this one for is guaranteed versatility. Other brands don't allow you to fizz up anything other than water (you might be able to, but their products aren't designed or guaranteed for this use). It is quite expensive, but I'm very pleased with how many plastic bottles I haven't put into recycling this past month. Usually it would be 3-4 2L bottles each week! I highly recommend this item.

We chose the silver model to match our stainless appliances. Fits in seamlessly. Sleek and elegant looking on the counter with or without the bottle. Reminds us of those old factory message/cash vacuum tubes. Box arrived in giftable condition. In the box: machine, 2 bottles, 1 injector lid, 1 non injector lid, instructions. Bottles of CO2 are purchased separately. Comes with a warranty. Easy to setup warranty via Facebook Messenger and their automated responses. Even though these are automated, they are attentive and even provide you with a digital recipe guide. They even keep up with you, asking how you’re enjoying the machine. Fits soda stream brand CO2 canisters perfectly. Simply slide into the tube, twist, and use. We enjoy not needing to plug the machine in during use. Easy to press the entire top for fizz. Instructions say to press 2-3 times for 1 second each. We find that 3 presses is a bit too fizzy for our liking. We enjoy 2 presses. It tastes similar to store bought carbonated beverages with 2 presses. This is personal preference. We chose this brand, even though it is more expensive than Sodastream machines, because we like the design more, it’s more sanitary in that you can wash the injector nozzle, and we have the option to carbonate just about anything (not just cold water). This has come in handy when we have had flat pop. Simply fill the bottle and recarbonate. Fresh pop!! The 2 bottles are the same length as a Sodastream CO2 canister: very long and narrow. When drinking from them, tip the bottle slowly. I wore half of a fresh pop when first trying it, haha. It flows quickly! Since then, we have chosen to mix pop syrup in the bottle, then transfer to cups. We can fill 2 high ball glasses with 1 canister. Storing bottles: we lay them in the fridge. It fits perfectly and does not leak. We purchased a second injector lid for storing both bottles with injector lids in the fridge, as when you remove the injector lid and replace it with the regular storage lid the carbonation begins to dissipate and will eventually become flat in the fridge, just like an opened store bought pop. Having two injector lids means that you can store both carbonated beverage bottles in the fridge at the same time for a long while. We have opened ours days later and the carbonation has not decreased at all. As for syrups, we have tried a few brands and all work great. We have followed the instructions on the Sodastream syrups and the measurements on the bottle seem to coincide nicely with the Quarbo. However, flavour is a personal preference. Plain carbonated water tastes great too. We use super soft chlorinated city water, filtered through a Brita water filter and refrigerated. Cleaning the bottles can be a bit difficult. We have a longer silicon Norwex bottle brush and it is shorter than the tube, meaning that I have to stick my fingers inside the tube and press/turn the bottle brush with my fingertips to clean it. That being said, hot soapy water and this technique cleans it nicely. I would recommend cleaning immediately to ensure the least amount of sticky residue to scrub out later. If you have a longer bottle brush, then this probably won’t be as much of an issue.
