will this work on a newer smart tv?

I did not use it on a smart TV but technically it should not work because it needs a driver to function. There are keyboards that are designed for smart TVs that don't require driver install. You may not notice it but every time you plug in a usb device on your computer there is a driver install that's happening in the background.

Does it work with Mac?

Sorry Chad, I don't know. It has a USB plug-in, but it definitely is made for the Windows OS. Don't know of it's cross-compatibility.

Anyone know what the key roll over is?

Sorry, don't know what that means. I thought I was getting a Dell "quiet key" keyboard like at work, but it wasn't what was advertised on Amazon. It was noisy and sticks. It's in a box somewhere now, a wasted purchase.

Hi Renee, Yes!...you can use the this keyboard with any laptop! This is an excellent keyboard! Keyboards on laptops aren't built for speed...I'm a fast touch typist, I can type over 50 WPM. In addition, the 10 ten on this keyboard is a bizillion times faster than the laptop 10 keyboard!!!...I can touch 10 key over 15,000 SPH with 98.5 accuracy.
