Helped Us Understand Each Other
We first heard Eggerichs at our church, years ago. It was really eye opening, one of the first relationship seminars we had been to. The books is a good read and gave my husband understanding on how to love me and fill my tank. However the reason why it only gets 4 is I feel that it falls short on the respect aspect. Still don't really get it fully (although it does help) and would like more examples on the 'Respect' side of the book. UPDATE: 12/2017 We've been married coming up on 14 years and we still use some of the sayings in this book along with the philosophy. While I haven't read the book or this workbook since this review, parts of it have really been memorable.

Wonderful book to bring you closer together
I absolutely love Dr Emerson - the main book is phenomenal and this workbook is very helpful to do with your partner. It’s formatted really simply and in chapters. It has specific questions for the wife and for the husband and for both. I think this workbook is really great for helping couples understand each other better & gain a lot of clarity & this deepen your connection :)
