Huperzine A, for Learning & Memory* 200 mcg - 120 Tablets

While doing some research, I read about Huperzine A. My mom had been experiencing some mild cognitive impairment, so I ordered some to give it a try. I'm really glad I did! Mom has been taking it for several months, and it works really well. On occasion I found that mom benefitted a 2nd dose. Because of that, I order the 200mcg tablets for her. Source Naturals brand Huperzine is $12 for bottles of 120 count 100mcg tablets and it's $20 for bottles of 120 count bottles of 200mcg tablets. One bottle lasts for 4 months. It's such a small price to pay for something that has such positive and noticeable effects on cognitive health and mom's sense of balance. The tablets are very small, round tablets, that are beige in color, and are very easy for mom to swallow. I remember a time when I had an excellent memory, but as the years go on, I find myself being unable to recall things more and more and it is driving me nuts. I decided to try a supplement to help, and found mention of huperzine A in a reddit thread I was reading. I probably read through 10-15 different mentions of Huperzine when I was looking it up online, and decided to go for it. It came in the mail rather quickly (free shipping, Amazon Prime…score!) and I started to take the recommended dosage of one tablet two times a day, and waited to see the results. Well, as with all supplements, I know that it sometimes takes 3-6 weeks for you to see results take hold on your body, and I wanted to remain patient. After about a week, I saw a bit of change, I could see some improvement in my short term memory, but then also, I noticed I was a little bit tweaky, so I cut down the dosage to just one tablet per day in the morning. After three weeks, I noticed that there was actually a really big difference in my memory, as I could not only recall things that I had difficulty remembering before, I could do it faster than I am used to. The huperzine A is a really great product, and I do recommend it, but as with all supplements it’s really specific to your body and you have to do your research. It’s not a magic pill, but does work if it’s right for you. Update: So I’ve been taking the huperzine for a few months now, and actually started taking another supplement (this time for focus) that actually somehow increased the potency of the huperzine A. Makes you smarter, for a few hours. These are good when you need to focus. I take one before work every day. The effects don't last very long, but they are dramatic. My mom won't take them because she's worried they will diminish cognition long term. Who knows...I hope not. Anyway, if you don't feel as sharp as you used to, these are worth a try, after checking with your Doctor first, of course. I've heard stories some people have a bad reaction to cholinesterase inhibitors due to a genetic difference, so probably just take a tiny nibble of the pill the first few times to make sure you can handle them. If you know you have a sensitivity, steer clear.

I love This product! This is the second time I have bought this product. You must give it a week, week and a half, before noticing the changes in recall. I have, once again, been able to immediately recall names, historical events in detail, etc., that was not so great, over the past several years. I am 66, and just recently a retired RN. I now feel the way I felt about 20 years ago. Those stored memories, especially names...it is just amazing. I am totally on track, sharp as a track, the way I always had been, recall.track, No sluggish hazy brain fog. I did do plenty of research re this product, as a nurse. This one REALLY works. No hype, no false promises.
