Mother Earth Products Dehydrated Spinach Jar

Aside from the appearance which is to be expected, its not going to stay in full leaf form people come on. However it taste is great, mixes well in my recipes. I haven't tried in a smoothie yet, this is why I love reviews you always learn something. I bought a readymade chicken stuffed with artichoke spinich mix and added probably two more tbs to the meal. It definitely kicked up more flavor and sent me in a food high followed by a food coma shortly after. Good stuff, highly recommend as a staple in the pantry and will be a repeat purchase.

I got this because I make a lot of my stuff from scratch and the old man and kids constantly oh we want some soup in a cup we want a ramen so I'll do up noodles I'll get my chicken broth I had this you know that little pop of taste and it's amazing but it also makes it very easy because I don't have to constantly have fresh spinach on hand I live off grid so this is a great and easy way to add spinach to my recipes

The appearance and taste and smell of the spinach was very good. Texture was dried and the size will last a minute. It was a hood value for the money. Pluse easy to use.

Purchased the Mother Earth garlic chips and was so happy with it decided to try this spinach. Have used it in soups and omelets and spaghetti sauces so far and as long as you give it a change to rehydrate while cooking it tastes great. While I prefer to make homemade soups, have tried this in Progresso canned soup and even in Ramen noodles/soup. Very easy to add a little vegetable flavor and nutrition to otherwise salt-laden items. It seemed a little expensive but as I'm not using it as a side vegetable source but as an easy additive to soups and omelets I think it should become a staple in my pantry. Arrived quickly, seems to be quality spinach, nicely packaged, easy to use. Very happy with purchase.

I don't use this for just eating plain. I'm sure it's lovely, but I'm not a big fan of cooked spinach. What I got this for is to mix into things for the extra vitamins. I mix a tablespoon or so into things like sauces or eggs just for the extra health. This is perfect for that. Spinach in low doses doesn't have a whole lot of flavor and doesn't change much. I like this! This is $12 for 3 oz, which sounds like a lot, but it's super light. And since it's dehydrated, it's not going to spoil as fast as fresh spinach would when I just need a little at a time.

The flavor, color, and texture are good but it doesn’t reconstitute into anything that resembles fresh spinach leaves, so don’t expect it. It is more like finely chopped, frozen spinach that is well cooked. It is nothing like canned spinach, not at all slimy. I have used it in soups, dips, pasta dishes, rice dishes and egg dishes, all with good results. Crumbling it into powder using my blender, I added “stealth nutrition” into hamburgers, meatloaves, and sauces for the grandkids. They never even suspected it was there. It is very helpful when cooking for one or for anyone who can’t get out to shop very often. The container is light weight and easy to handle. This has the same nutritional value as fresh without the waste and there are no additives or sodium to worry about. I love a fresh spinach salad but for most other uses of spinach I think I will use this from now on.

Love the product . But not happy . The picture shows a 3 oz jar ... Yet the description at top describing it says 6oz and the product details also state 6oz will be sent. Yet 3 Oz was received .
