A great way to buy sim cards. Had no issues with EE

It was quick and easy to activate. I wanted to test the coverage of EE with this card before committing to one of the black friday contracts.

I was able to get this pre-paid SIM card to work without having to make any additional payments or needing to register. I had problems with texts not arriving until a few hours after they'd been sent, but that seems to have something to do with network upgrades in my area. Similarly, the caller ID didn't show on my phone. However, further away from home, the SIM seemed OK. My pre-paid time has now expired and I'm experimenting with different networks, so I haven't renewed it.

We could not get this sim card to work. We took it to an EE store and they explained there was no credit on the card as described. I have tried to return this product and just keep getting directed to complicated instructions. Unless you are very tech savy I would not recommend this product.

Beware, this is a monthly pay-as-you. Use it or lose it within the month.

The £15 / 75GB version worked fine for me. It had £15 credit on it and as soon as you make a call or text it adds 25GB of data. You get a text to confirm this. Then a minute or too later, you get another text saying they added your 50GB bonus data. It also says this will continue to happen for 5 or 6 more £15 top ups (if you bother to top up at all). The data lasts 30 days max. At first I tried the SIM in an EE wifi hotspot device. But obviously in one of those, there is no way to actually make a call or send a text to activate the SIM and get your data. So I stuck it in my phone to do that part and then moved it back to the hotspot device after activation - which works fine. I can see how this process could be a bit confusing, because it's not really explained very well. But once you know what to do I think it's decent value for what it is.

Ich habe die Simkarte 1 Tag bevor wir die Reise begonnen haben in einem alten Handy aktiviert. Eigentlich hab ich die Sim nur reingesteckt und das Handy eingeschaltet. danach kam eine SMS das die Karte aktiviert ist und 1 Minute später kam eine SMS das das Guthaben von 125GB für 30 Tage aktiviert wurde. Wir verwendeten den "TP-Link M7350 - 4G (CAT4) Tragbarer WLAN-Router" auf dem wir uns mit unseren Handys schon vorher ohne Sim im Router verbunden haben um das Wlan des Routers mal abzuspeichern damit sich die Handys automatisch nach einschalten des Routers verbinden. Dann haben wir die EE-Sim in den Router gesteckt. Bevor wir von der Fähre in Harwich (GB) runtergefahren sind haben wir den Router eingeschaltet und die Handys haben sich automatisch verbunden und wir hatten sofort eine Verbindung um via WhatsApp mit der Familie Kontakt aufnehmen zu können. Die ganze Kommunikation auf der Insel haben wir ausschließlich über den Router vorgenommen damit wir nicht unnötig den teuren Tarif unseres Handyvertrages nutzen mussten. Das hat alles perfekt funktioniert. Wir waren 3 Wochen auf der Insel, hauptsächlich in Schottland und hatten dabei zu 95% perfektes 4G Netz. Wir waren mit 2 Handys und einem Laptop verbunden und haben ausgiebig genutzt, auch Netflix und Youtube geschaut. Einmal kam auch ein Update von Windows für Laptop das auch über die EE-Karte gemacht wurde. Alles in allem haben wir in den 3 Wochen trotz intensiver Nutzung am Ende unserer Reise ein Restguthaben von ca 55GB. Also ist sich alles locker ausgegangen. Der Preis ist Top für so viel Guthaben! Ich kann die EE-SIM also alles 5 Sterne geben und uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!

The 30 days countdown starts without the card have being activated. After 30 days your prepaid credit is gone independent if you have used the card or not. EE apply no refund or extension policy, the only option is to pay more.

Karte funktionierte nicht!

Einfach ins Zweithandy eingelegt, in England das Handy eingeschalten und somit die Daten Sim aktiviert. Alles war wie beschrieben super einfach, ohne Probleme. Habe ich bereits weiterempfohlen und werde ich auch wieder kaufen. Top!
