Musiclily Pro 9-Volt Battery Box Case Compartment for Active Guitar Bass

Fitted the Ibanez bass perfectly. Even the screw holes lined up. It doesn't come pre-wired so you will have to solder the wires on but that's no biggy. It's better than the original battery box in that the battery just pops in and out rather than having to pull off and push on the terminal connection.

These are great! They’re a really quick and easy upgrade to the standard battery boxes with the 9V clip-tail that always ends up breaking or letting you down on a gig. These have the convenience of blades that the battery simply presses against, and they’re sprung so they won’t ever wobble loose. They’re a straight-swap with most battery boxes, and I’ve ordered one for all 4 of my basses now. I have to say I’m really impressed with the quality and price of the Musiclily parts and have since ordered many other various bits that have all been spot on.

Many guitars are not deep enough for a 9V box where the battery goes in sideways, so this is perfect for all but the thinnest guitars. I used this for a guitar that I installed a Seymour Duncan Hyperswitch in and there just was no room for a 9V battery in the control cavity. While I was a bit nervous about routing out a hole in the guitar, it came out great and fit perfectly next to the control cavity. Now I have an acrylic template for the routing of the hole to use in future installs, so I bought 4 more to keep on hand! Only thing I would recommend is to install a piece of ribbon across the middle of the box to make it easier to lift the battery out when you need to change it. It isn't horrible to get it out without the ribbon, but it makes it much easier and is a simple mod.

Don t rely on the measurements too much as they aren t exact. The box is well constructed and sturdy but remember that you ll have to make your own template as the templates available here are for deeper boxes. If you have an electric guitar with a thinner body, this is your option, but again, make your own template because there are two types of boxes and this template is not available one amazon.ca at least. Also, make sure that your soldering Iron isn t set higher than 330 or you risk melting the battery studs.

バッテリーボックスが破損してしまい、騙し騙し使っていましたがついにどうにもならず。 アメリカ製のS.U.Bシリーズはすでに生産終了して久しく、探したものの全く同じものは見つからず。ダメ元でこちらを購入したところ、無加工で取り付け可能、ネジ穴までピッタリでした。ネジは付属しないので元々ついていたものを使用しました。 電池のサイズはパナソニックなどの大きいものだと閉まらないか、無理をすると壊れてしまうので小さめのデュラセルなどがいいと思います。デュラセルでも蓋のスポンジがあると若干閉まりにくかったです。ご参考までに。
